Benrat Hotel

The hotel's location is great, very close to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road. There are many delicious food options nearby, and on a nice day, you can take a stroll around the area. The service was also good. 👍🏻👍🏻

The name is really fun, which drew me in. There are so many smart people in this world; it's better to be a 'dumb' one and live a life of no contention. They even have 'dumb' dishes and 'dumb' ear-picking service, a bit like the 'dumb' chickens and 'dumb' eggs from Northeast China 😂

The location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹

The location is convenient and the price is affordable. It's very close to Taikoo Li, and there's a snack street downstairs. I didn't expect to find such a great value hotel at this price in Chengdu. Chengdu is wonderful, I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is even worse than the small hotels I stayed at during my trip. It's livable, but don't expect much. The only good thing about it is its location. Wampingshan Street is right downstairs, perfect for a stroll, and you can grab some Li Shanshan milk tea (a must-try!). Plus, the hotel has smart toilets. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for solo female travelers. The hallways are very dark, only lighting up when you pass by, which I found quite creepy. The whole hotel feels a bit old. And as for the 'very comfortable beds' – I didn't find them anything special. That's about it. I wouldn't recommend it to friends, haha. There are plenty of other options nearby.

Had a fantastic stay here, it was the most comfortable hotel experience I had during my trip to Chengdu. The whole room was smart-controlled. There are also plenty of great shops and restaurants around the hotel, with San Yang Zi just a street behind.
