Orange Hotel

When traveling with kids, I like the predictability of trusted hotel chains. Orange Hotel is one of them - you know what you’re getting with the rooms, cleanliness and service. The location was superb - right across from Taikoo Li and IFS. It was also close to Chengdu East Station which is where we came in from. Staff were very friendly. Check in and check out were quick. Breakfast was free (for members) and decent. They had kids slippers and toothbrushes, and even gave our kids panda headbands as a souvenir at check in. The kids also got a kick out of the hotel robot that came to our room to deliver food delivery. The windows were soundproof and we couldn’t hear any noise from the nightclub across the road in Taikoo Li. If you want absolute assurance of no noise at all we were given the option to have the back-facing rooms. We slept in the front-facing rooms and didn’t encounter any problems with noise. We’d stay here again!

Although a longish walk from subway it was perfect location for me to run along river in early morning and cose to my meeting. Staff were exceptionally helpful with taxi and cheerful in spite of being busy

I stayed here a second time I liked it so much. Great location, but the best thing about the Orange Hotel is the staff. They are all so helpful, friendly, and hard working. They helped with every small question from the location of Covid test sites, to arranging a car, to finding attractions within the city. They were also very patient while navigating the English to Chinese language barrier. Would definitely stay here again next visit to Chengdu.

To be honest, I thought it was very overpriced. It’s a good location but a very basic room for the price. The staff were friendly but didn’t really offer any help or recommendations.

Orange hotel was good.The hotel was clean and didn’t have any funny smell in the room nor the corridors .The room was nice and spacious ,the shower gel had good quality and smelt great .There was some tea ,water and some drinks in the small fridge which was great .I would come here again

good quality hotel on the edge of the more expensive part of taikooli. as expected for the price. near to expensive restaurants cafes and pedestrian street

This hotel is great for short term stays! It’s right opposite Tai Koo Li. The staff are pretty friendly as well. Every time I’ve arrived super early I’ve always requested an early check in.
