Bolinghui Hotel (Chengdu Panda Base West Gate Subway Station Store)

The room was spacious and clean, with smart voice control, which was very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided an extra pair of slippers when they saw I had a child, which was great. I originally planned to stay for one day, but the kids wanted to stay longer, so we extended our stay for another day.

I specifically booked this hotel to see the giant pandas. The hotel was great, definitely worthy of its four-star rating – clean, hygienic, and spacious rooms. However, the mattress and pillows were so incredibly comfortable that I overslept and missed the best time to see the pandas 🐼 early in the morning. Still, after several days of exploring Chengdu, this was by far the most comfortable night's sleep I had, so missing out was almost worth it! 😁 The hotel was having an anniversary special, so breakfast was only 20 yuan per person, with a wide variety of options, befitting a four-star hotel. The 88 yuan lunch set for two was more than we could finish; the portions were generous, and everything was freshly stir-fried. It was the most economical and delicious meal I had during my entire trip to Chengdu. There's also a bus with a fixed schedule to see the giant pandas, right next to the hotel. The earliest bus departs at 7:30 AM, with subsequent buses every 40 minutes, taking you directly to the West Gate of the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base – very convenient. If you're going to see the pandas, I highly recommend this hotel. Also, a quick tip: if you want to see Fu Bao and Xiao Qi Ji, you need to go to the Shenshuping Base, which is about a two-hour drive from here.

The room was quite spacious, and the two beds were large, which was great for bringing kids. It's very close to the Panda Base, and the morning shuttle service was convenient, starting at 7:30 AM and running every ten minutes to the West Gate entrance. It was too hot this summer, so I'll definitely come back to the Panda Base when it's cooler, and stay here again!

Pros: The decor is quite new, the beds in the twin room are very large, the shower works well with great water pressure. It's about a 7-8 minute drive to the west gate of the Panda Base. Cons: The soundproofing is a bit poor, and the cleanliness needs improvement.

The room was very quiet, and even though it's a bit far from the city center, I still chose to extend my stay. The pillows met my standards, and despite usually having trouble sleeping, I slept well last night. The mini-fridge was very convenient.

The room was a suite with a living room, which was very convenient for traveling with kids. It's very close to the West Gate of the Panda Base, less than a 10-minute taxi ride away. You can also walk to the shuttle bus stop in 10 minutes to catch a ride to the West Gate. The hotel even offered a late check-out, so we could rest a bit after coming back from the Panda Base. Overall, I recommend it.

Service: Excellent and very friendly. Hygiene: Clean, tidy, and well-organized. Facilities: Very nice. Environment: Great, quiet, and comfortable. It's also very close to the Panda Base, which is super convenient. The subway station is just a few minutes' walk from the entrance. Highly recommended!

The breakfast buffet was nutritious, delicious, and plentiful. They also offered a late check-out service. The room price was reasonable, and it was close to the Panda Breeding Research Base. I loved it so much! They even gave me a cute panda fridge magnet as a little gift when I left 🎁

This is the closest hotel to the Panda Base, and it's absolutely packed with panda-themed decor. Our room even had a cute little tent for kids, which was a lovely touch. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the facilities.
