I have booked this hotel multiple times for my mum and my mum truly enjoys every stay here. The staff are consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which makes a big difference to her experience. She would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mövenpick Chiang Mai for their dedication and effort in maintaining such a high service standard. She was especially delighted by the festive touch, with Santa Claus distributing chocolates to guests, which added a lovely and thoughtful atmosphere to the stay. My mum also commented that Mövenpick stands out compared to Dusit Princess Chiang Mai, particularly in terms of accessibility and overall service quality. Thank you once again to the entire team for making her stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Very old rooms, but serviceable. Worth the price just for the location, night markets are right at the doorstep. Noise cancelling is poor, lift is bad. Gym is tiny with only 2 treadmills. There seems to be daily free chocolate fondue at certain hour but the hotel staff did not inform. Room service and cleaning staffs are great.

Honestly, the hotel's location is excellent, right by the Chang Khang Road Night Bazaar. Everything you need is right outside the lobby. My first check-in was smooth enough, but the room change later on was a nightmare. They wouldn't give me the room key until after 2 PM, which is fine, I guess. But I was literally sitting in the lobby right in front of them. The room was ready, yet they wouldn't bring the key over or even call me. They made me come pick it up. Who's got more patience, them or me? And then the best part: we had two rooms for two people, but they gave us one at the beginning of the hall and one at the very end. What, did we pay less than everyone else? To top it off, our window was right by the central AC vent, and it was unbelievably noisy from morning till night. A complete mess.

It's in a separate building, not the main hotel, and is larger than the standard room type. The bathroom has a bathtub, but the decor doesn't seem particularly new. Eating breakfast every day wasn't very convenient.

Movenpick hotel is located in the heart of the night bazaar. There are lots of stalls and restaurants available nearby. It is also not too far from the old city. I booked this accommodation for the weekend in Chiangmai and could walk to both the Wua Lai Saturday night market and Sunday market in the centre of the old city. Location is superb.  The service there is also great. There is chocolate fountain snack everyday from 4-5pm when I stayed there. The rooms are big and clean. Overall, a really great stay.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring the night bazaar and nearby attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They also offer a complimentary sweet fondue from 5–7 pm.  The only downside for me was that the rooms feel a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. However, they were still comfortable and clean. Overall, it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a hotel with great service and a central location in Chiang Mai.
