Duangtawan Hotel knows what guest likes. Building has good architecture. Deluxe rooms have good layout and most importantly very good facilities, clean, quiet and very comfortable that ensures a pleasant visit to Chiang Mai. All staffs are very good with recognition given to my check-in staff and breakfast Tawan Restaurant waitress Ms Kung. Breakfast is buffet from 6-10:30am with quality food with a big spread in a huge restaurant. Hotel is located in the center of night bazaar area with a 7-11 just opposite. 1 bad point is the weak wifi in my room that is very slow sometimes. My attached photos show a thousand words.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name] and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel just like home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options each morning.

Great location if you wish to get around the big tourist markets because it’s just at the hotel’s doorstep. The hotel is old but they do their best to keep it clean. Stayed in the superior double room, it has a big room and washroom too. The balcony was pretty small with not much of a view. Breakfast was decent with a nice outdoor seating area, it has indoors seating too.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is well located, with spacious rooms and a pool. However, the facilities are a bit worn—some light bulbs need replacing, there was a missing curtain on the window facing the hallway, and the faucets in the room were loose. That being said, you get what you pay for, and we were very happy staying at Mandala. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Chiang Mai, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The hotel offers free parking, and right next to it there’s a big, lively market. I don’t know their exact opening hours, but on the first night we arrived we went there to eat and explore—it was huge and bustling, the perfect start to our time in Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!
The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked very well, and overall it was very comfortable. The only small issue was that the floor near the entrance felt a bit slippery when we first walked in, maybe because of the rain that day.
What stood out most to me were three services:
The complimentary eSIM card that came with the booking. We used it for several days to stay connected while traveling around—completely free, and I loved it.
The afternoon tea. After exploring the city, coming back to relax and enjoy snacks with tea exceeded my expectations. The lady at the front desk was very professional and friendly—big plus.
The breakfast. Many hotels include breakfast, but here it was served in a semi-indoor, semi-outdoor space filled with sunlight and fresh air. I much preferred this compared to the usual indoor setting—it felt really refreshing.
We didn’t use the pool, so I can’t comment on that. But overall, this hotel gave us a great start in Chiang Mai, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

I had a great experience at CM Night Bazaar Boutique Hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with well-maintained rooms that offer a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and always ready to help.
The location is perfect—just steps away from the Night Bazaar, making it easy to explore local markets, shops, and restaurants. Despite being close to the lively area, the hotel is quiet and peaceful for a good night’s rest.
One of the best things about this hotel is its affordable price. Compared to other hotels in the area, it offers excellent value for money without compromising on cleanliness and comfort.
Highly recommended for travelers looking for a budget-friendly yet quality stay in Chiang Mai!

This grand old lady is just perfect when visiting ChiangMai. The hotel is in a great spot with shops and some street food, many cafes and beautiful shops. The breakfast is perfect for me, an Australian, it had all my favourites. The swimming pool is very clean and tested everyday. Ok, the bed was a little hard for me but the girls organised a topper for me. For the price this place is priceless, its so good I stayed there twice. The staff are the best they really looked after me, thankyou everyone 💗

Amazing
MMaxlinerMaladee is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small place, but super warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a modern style, and absolutely spotless — everything felt brand new. What really stood out was the staff. They were so kind and took care of us like family.
The location was a huge plus. I’ve stayed in Nimman and the Old City before, but both felt a bit crowded and noisy. Maladee is just a short walk from Tha Phae Gate, but it feels like a peaceful resort. In the mornings, I could hear birds singing, and at night it was so quiet — I slept really well.
Another thing I loved was the free afternoon tea and the fun daily activities the hotel offers. It made the whole experience feel extra special.
It’s just a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven, and super close to the Night Bazaar. There are lots of restaurants nearby too, including Michelin-listed ones like Ekachan restaurant. And the hotel’s own restaurant? The food was amazing!
Honestly, it was a perfect stay, and I’m already planning to come back.

Great
ZZAPULIKAI’m a solo female traveler and stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I really loved my room — it was compact, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always ready to assist with anything I needed.
The lobby was also well-equipped with amenities like a water dispenser and coin-operated washing machines. If you get hungry late at night, they have instant noodles and drinks available for purchase. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided for free, which was a nice touch.
The location is very convenient, close to lots of food options and shopping areas. One thing to note is that there can occasionally be some noise from outside, such as people singing, but it usually doesn’t go past 11 PM. If you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs just in case.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place. The price is also very reasonable!

GGuest UserWouldn’t recommend, we booked it just because other hotels were full. Staff attitude is average, price is ok but you just feel like you’re in a fight with the hotel as they ask for deposit for the room (some hotels require this) and when we checked out they made us wait so they can make sure we didn’t still anything from the room before returning our deposit. Just felt like they don’t trust their customers and didn’t feel comfortable. The room mentioned a terrace but it was actually 3 square feet with half of the space taken by air condition motor box.

AAbd. Syukur Abdullahnice clean hotel... affordable and budget friendly. Near Tha Phae gate.. within parameters of free pick up and drop off by most tour operators. Toilet is bit small.. mat not suitable for large sized individuals.. There is construction going on around surrounding areas in case you plan to sleep during daytime.. otherwise excellant and friendly staff.
