When you enter this hotel you get a district feel of it being built specifically for the general secretary of Soviet Union, Leonid Illich Brezhnev. Everything is so early 1980s! Breakfast is good, basic for 4 stars.

I have stayed a few times over the years and I do like this hotel. The location is excellent and the staff are great However I am no longer very mobile and the swimming pool is a nightmare to get to and worse to get out of. A very steep staircase which I cannot walk back up. No one in a wheelchair would stand a chance.⁸ There was a huge variety of dishes for breakfast but unfortunately the food was always cold. Hot omelette can be made to order and there's a toaster but that's it if you're seeking a hot breakfast Lovely temple 5 minutes walk

Well located modern hotel with reasonable breakfast room but monotonous choice. Fairly basic European style and same for Asian.Pool kept very clean and quite large. Worth coming to Chiang rai just to see the Ehite and Blue temples-both magnificent

Water pressure is low and room is quite old but breakfast spread is good and service is adequate . They only give one room card for family room!

We booked a family room with one double bed and one single bed. It was clean, hygienic, and very well soundproofed, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The lobby and facilities are standard 4-star quality, and there's free parking available. The area around the hotel is lively, and it's very close to the Clock Tower. The air conditioning and shower water were excellent. The most commendable aspect was when we left our phone charger behind. We only realized it after returning to Chiang Mai and called the hotel. They had Chinese-speaking staff who helped me confirm the lost item and arranged to mail it to me in Chiang Mai. I'm incredibly grateful for their help. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends from China for two main reasons: the convenient and warm Chinese-speaking service, and the breakfast that perfectly suits a Chinese palate.

This hotel does not provide 2 key cards even when requested. It makes it very inconvenient for guests to freely move around. The whole group has to go out and come back together. This is the first time I've experienced this. Breakfast was poor as food ran out and no topping up was done. Noisy area as the bars are just below room. Strange sounds coming from the toilet were heard in the middle of the night and the shower was hot and cold.

I spent 2 nights here, checked out this morning. It was lovely. A very nice hotel, ideally located and with wonderful staff. It was clean and provided a very good breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are in Chiang Rai.
