Mercy Hostel

Mercy Hostel was an excellent place to stay. The atmosphere was relaxed, the facilities were modern, and everything was well-maintained. I really enjoyed the convenience and comfort.

It was a really good stay. The property has many spaces to chill, tables outside, tv/sport room, inside space for games, including pool, comfortable kitchen. Bed with space and lockers. Breakfast included. Relaxed environment The only negative remark: the mosquitoes :) I would repeat anyway!

I am writing to the guest, not the hostel. The hostel is nice and everything. However, there was one foreign guest(looks like an east European)that insisted of switching off the A/C, despite the 30 Celsius degree hot weather. At night it was 25 Celsius but the room was still humid and hot as it has no open window (or the mosquito would fly in). I tried to switch the A/C on at night, but somehow the guest found a way to switch it back off(twice). If it’s for environmental sake, I don’t know whether the guest flew or walked to Thailand. If it’s just for one’s comfort, please TRY TO BE CONSIDERATE because others have paid for an A/C room just as you did. You have no right to switch it off for others, it’s hard to sleep at such humid warm nights. I admit that i was not persistent enough to switch the A/C back on again and again. I also didn’t want to bother the hostel staff about changing dormitory as it was quite packed with guests. I didn’t confront with that guest because since she managed to switch it back off twice, I didn’t think she cared enough to compromise anyway. I just want to leave a reminder here, please be considerate. 🙏🏼

Really good hotel if you want a comfortable sleep, all the amenities and attentive staff. It was social but not a party, which is a good or bad thing depending on what you want.

Cool little hostel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable with ample amenities provided. Highly recommended.
