FORMONT High-Rise River View Hotel (Chongqing Hong Ya Dong Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Chongqing)

The room was spacious with a great view, I could even watch the drone show right from my room, as you can see in the picture. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. Breakfast was average, but the free congee in the evening was a nice touch. The only downsides were the mediocre soundproofing – while noise from outside the window was expected, hearing kids from the next room was not. Also, the hotel doesn't have a dedicated guest elevator, making it a hassle to get an elevator at night.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, about 30 minutes from the airport, right next to Hongyadong. You can walk straight to Hongyadong from the first floor, and the 22nd floor leads directly to Kuaixinglou. It's about a 5-8 minute walk to Jiefangbei. In the evenings, they offer sweet soup and congee, which you can enjoy while taking in the views. The staff are also very friendly, always smiling no matter who is on duty. Be prepared that the room is actually smaller than shown in the booking photos. Soundproofing is just average; it's quite easy to tell who your neighbors are during peak evening hours. One night at 11 PM, someone was even playing loud music on repeat. The hotel does provide earplugs, which you can order by scanning a QR code, and a robot will deliver them to your door free of charge.

The facilities are pretty good. They also offer a health-boosting porridge from 8 PM to 10 PM. The lobby has a nice river view. From the first floor, if you go right, you can reach Hongyadong, and from the 22nd floor, you can get to Jiefangbei. The front desk even has ice cream and popcorn available, which is a nice touch. Overall, it's quite good and worth another visit. Recommended!

This hotel is super convenient for getting to all the attractions. The front desk staff (especially the lady at reception) was incredibly warm and helpful, offering detailed introductions and excellent service. They were always quick to assist with any check-in issues and promptly delivered small necessities to our room. Plus, there's free laundry service! Our room faced the river and was by the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise, but the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs. Breakfast was available until noon, and they even offered free dessert/sweet soup as a late-night snack. Overall, my stay was very comfortable.

The location is unbeatable! You can take the hotel elevator directly to Kuixinglou on the 22nd floor, and it's a very short walk to Hongya Cave and Jiefangbei. The room itself is also spacious, clean, and odor-free. From the 21st floor, you get a lovely view of the river at night. The breakfast spread is quite good and tasty; I especially enjoyed the Chongqing noodles. They even have desserts in the evening, which are delicious, and the staff are all very enthusiastic.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean and hygienic, and its location was incredibly convenient. It's surrounded by shopping areas and famous attractions. A truly memorable trip.
