Stumbled upon a hidden gem in Ciqikou! I can't recommend Wugongguan enough! I scoured countless online reviews before picking this place, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Our family booked a king room, and the loft design offered a super spacious area. The traditional Chinese retro style is perfect for snapping some amazing photos! The hotel is located at the highest point of the ancient town, with direct elevator access. From the balcony, you get a stunning panoramic view of Ciqikou's gray-tiled roofs – the view is absolutely breathtaking. The service deserves all the praise! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. Plus, deliveries can be brought straight up to your room, which is a lifesaver for those who prefer to relax! The blackout curtains were excellent, allowing us to sleep in until we naturally woke up. ❗️Key point: Not recommended for those driving as parking is inconvenient. I highly suggest taking the subway instead; it's a genuine 5-minute walk from Ciqikou Metro Station, incredibly convenient!

If you're coming to Chongqing for a holiday, my sisters, just book it with your eyes closed! 🚗 The location is super convenient. It's right at the entrance of Ciqikou Metro Station. The grand signboard makes it easy to spot right away, near Ciqikou Metro Station. Transportation is incredibly convenient. It's close to Ciqikou and Baolun Temple, and it's very quiet at night. You can take the metro directly to various attractions, it couldn't be easier. ❤️ Check-in Experience The 'Xiao Du' smart assistant is a great companion. The hotel's retro style really appealed to me; it felt very much like 'Chungking Express' 🌳. The upgraded comfortable bedding and a huge TV. Both the facilities and cleanliness are excellent. Staying here gives you a great sense of security 🌞. The balcony has a large bathtub 🛁 – taking a comfortable bath there was just too relaxing. The hotel is very clean, quiet at night, and has good soundproofing. Tips: They offer traditional clothing for guests, so sisters who love taking photos can go and snap some great shots! #ChongqingHotel

Hauling a large suitcase uphill can be a bit challenging, so it's a good idea to contact the front desk beforehand for assistance. The decor is unique and the facilities are well-maintained. Details like the bedding, linens, and flooring are also excellent. The front desk kindly upgraded me to a balcony room, where I could enjoy tea and listen to the bustling activity below. There's some renovation happening next door, so it can get noisy in the mornings. I suggest adding hooks in the bathroom for clothes and towels, and having a separate control for the sink light.

Waking up and pulling back the curtains reveals an absolutely stunning view. 🫶🏻 It perfectly showcases the beauty of Chongqing, the mountain city. The location is also excellent, right within the Ciqikou scenic area. After taking photos and exploring, you can head straight back to the guesthouse to rest your feet. It's just a 15-minute taxi ride directly to Hongyadong, no need to rush and squeeze onto the subway during morning peak hours! In the evening, I enjoyed the breeze on the terrace, watching the city lights gradually illuminate below. All the vibrancy and romance of Chongqing can be found right here. Plus, it's incredibly good value for money; the price is very reasonable!! Whether you're visiting with your bestie, on a romantic getaway, or traveling solo, you'll find Chongqing's laid-back pace here. My dear friends visiting the mountain city, promise me you'll stay at Wugongguan at least once!
