MIXED REVIEW — PLEASE READ IN FULL. First, the positives: the location and price are excellent. It is a boutique-style hotel with a distinctive colour scheme and aesthetic, which is what initially attracted me from the photos. In person, some parts of the corridors, carpet and lift area looked a little faded, but nothing terrible. The hotel is inside a multi-purpose building and located on an upper floor. There is no food provided, which was completely fine for me because there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I stayed for two nights. I initially had some trouble getting the air conditioning to work. One staff member was very kind and helpful. When I had trouble with it again later, another staff member came down to assist, which I appreciated, although her tone felt slightly condescending. The room decor itself was decent, but the rug was a little dusty and the room did not smell especially fresh. It was not bad, just not particularly fresh. On my second day I joined a day tour offered through the hotel. I understand this was operated by a third party, but the tour itself was genuinely excellent. I had a fantastic time and would happily recommend that experience. Unfortunately, the most serious issue happened at checkout. One staff member had previously helped take some photos of me, which I genuinely appreciated, and she actually took them quite well. At checkout, she gave me a small gift bag and asked whether I would leave a positive review. I said yes, because at that point I was genuinely planning to write a positive and detailed review myself, including many photos. However, while I had my phone open, she took the phone from me. Within a matter of seconds, she selected five stars across all categories, typed a very short positive review herself, and submitted it before I had approved or even properly seen what she had written. I was extremely shocked. The review said something along the lines of “intelligent lobby thoughtfully laid out,” which did not reflect what I personally wanted to write and did not meaningfully describe my stay. What made this especially frustrating was that I had already told her I wanted to write a detailed review and upload photos. After she submitted it, I said I wanted to add many photos. Another staff member tried to help, but the main review had already been submitted. The first staff member also appeared to know that Trip.com generally does not allow guests simply to rewrite a submitted review. This entire interaction happened in under ten seconds while she had my phone. My issue is not that the hotel asked me to leave a positive review. I had already agreed to do that. My issue is that a staff member took control of my phone, selected the ratings herself, wrote the review herself, and submitted it in my name without my approval. I contacted Trip.com immediately. Their customer service took the issue seriously, contacted the hotel, and the hotel subsequently apologised and acknowledged that a staff mistake had occurred. Trip.com also helped restore my ability to leave my own review, which I greatly appreciated. I want to be fair: without this incident, I probably would have left a generally positive review with photos. The location is excellent, the price is very good, the hotel has a distinctive style, and the tour experience was fantastic. But hotels should never take control of a guest’s review. If a hotel provides genuinely good service, guests will naturally leave good reviews. A positive review written by the actual guest, in their own words, is far more valuable than a generic review submitted on their behalf. So this was a mixed experience overall. There were things I genuinely liked, but the review incident left a very bad impression and undermined my trust in the hotel.

Downstairs is the Bayi Food Street 🥘, so you don't have to go far for delicious food and shopping! 👏 The most hassle-free part! Hongyadong, Qiansimen Bridge, Yangtze River Cableway, Raffles City – all are just a 5-8 minute walk away!! ✌️ After enjoying the night view of Hongyadong, I could just walk back to the hotel. No waiting in line for taxis, no getting stuck in traffic – that alone was incredibly relieving! Direct subway access to major attractions like Liziba and Ciqikou, making the entire trip stress-free. 💯 🏍️It was my first time staying in a motorcycle-themed hotel! So unique! It completely stands out from the cookie-cutter hotels in Jiefangbei! The lobby has a cyberpunk dark motorcycle aesthetic. The neon lights and lines are super cool, and there's an eye-catching Ducati motorcycle installation. You don't even need to leave; you can take great photos right in the lobby. The atmosphere for photos is totally maximized – it's niche yet high-end! 📷 🛏️So many room types! Suitable for every kind of trip. The room selection is really thoughtful, not just generic or perfunctory. ✔For couples: I highly recommend the scenic bathtub room. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of Jiefangbei's city nightscape. An independent large bathtub, soaking in it at night while enjoying the view is incredibly romantic. Smart voice control for the entire room – lights, curtains, air conditioning, all with a command. Smart toilet, an extra-large vanity mirror, and plush bedding – the details are well-executed. 👍 ✔For friends: A spacious and clean twin room for闺蜜. ✔For families: Dedicated parent-child themed rooms that kids absolutely adore. The rooms are overall very new, and the cleanliness is meticulously maintained. It feels fresh and comfortable to stay in, without the oppressive feeling of an old hotel. ✨The check-in service was incredibly attentive! Full marks for hospitality. Check-in was quick and efficient. Robots delivered food and items to the room throughout my stay. They also provided complimentary welcome drinks and snacks – a warm touch. Free luggage storage is available, and the front desk patiently provided tips for attractions and food spots. For those on a multi-day trip, no need to worry! There's a self-service laundry room. You can wash clothes anytime, making long-term stays super convenient 😭 I genuinely believe this is one of the best value-for-money and experiential hotels in Jiefangbei! It's only a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong and Qiansimen Bridge, so after enjoying the night views, you can leisurely stroll back to the hotel without worrying about taxis or traffic. It's also close to the subway station, making trips to Liziba and Ciqikou very convenient. The lobby has a dark cyberpunk style, complete with a Ducati motorcycle installation. The neon lights create fantastic photo opportunities; I took so many pictures before even entering my room. There's a wide variety of room types, suitable for couples, friends, or families with kids. I booked a scenic bathtub room, which had panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Jiefangbei's city nightscape. Soaking in the tub while gazing at the city lights created an incredible atmosphere. The room features full smart voice control; just a command can operate the curtains, lights, and air conditioning. A smart toilet and a large makeup mirror are also provided. The bedding is soft, and the room was clean and tidy. The check-in experience was great and very quick. A robot can deliver takeout directly to your room, and they even offered welcome drinks and snacks. 🏨 The hotel is easy to find and within walking distance of Hongyadong. It's a high-rise hotel with great views, and a pedestrian street right downstairs. We booked a family-themed room, which came with a cute blue tent. The bedding had adorable space patterns, and the twin beds were spacious. The details in the family room were quite thoughtful. The public areas had a fantastic vibe! A cool cyber-style lobby, Ducati motorcycle models... My kid wouldn't get off the motorbike, so I just kept snapping photos. The lounge area had expansive views, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city buildings. The facilities were clean and tidy, and the overall design was trendy. The kids had a great time and kept cool, and the adults could relax too. It's a very comfortable place to stay when visiting Jiefangbei and Hongyadong with kids. P.S. The lady at the front desk assigned us a room that got lovely sunlight around 4:30-5:00 PM – perfect for photos! 📸

The environment is great, very cyberpunk, and super clean. The XiaoDu smart speaker was a pleasure to use, even playing lullabies for sleeping. The hotel's location is fantastic, with a food street right downstairs and many of Chongqing's most famous attractions nearby. They even offer a free day trip and a surprise souvenir when you check out. Excellent, I'll definitely come back again!

Finally made it to Chongqing! This time, I decided to stay right in the Jiefangbei area. I really love the vibe here. Right downstairs is Bayi Delicious Street, with all sorts of snacks to choose from. When you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to your room to rest. Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is just a short walk away, and the Linjiangmen metro station is also very close. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll to Hongyadong and Qianximen Bridge, and after enjoying the night view, you don't have to rush for a taxi or battle traffic – you can just slowly walk back. Taking the metro also makes it easy to get to Liziba and Ciqikou. All the attractions I wanted to visit were easily accessible, making for a perfectly relaxed itinerary. The accommodation itself has a great atmosphere and a nice design. The smart facilities in the room were easy to use, and from the window, you could see the stunning, layered night view of this mountain city. If you're traveling with children, there are also suitable room types available. No need to wake up early to rush, no worries about transportation, and you can head out whenever you want to eat or explore. This kind of relaxed travel is truly so comfortable.

After a day of adventures, returning to the hotel meant the kids could entertain themselves, and the adults could finally catch a break. Choosing the right accommodation when traveling with children really boosts the trip's happiness factor. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Chongqing.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The room's location was excellent, very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. The environment was also good, and it was super convenient with Metro Lines 1, 2, and 6 right downstairs, making it easy to go anywhere. I'll definitely come again next time.

Overall, it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we even received some small gifts when we checked out. The environment was much better than many other places, and the hygiene was excellent; the room was very clean. The facilities had a minor issue though: the smart toilet in the bathroom only flushed, and its other functions weren't working effectively.

The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and some room types even come with a view-facing bathtub, which really elevates the night-time ambiance. This room type is perfect for family trips, especially when traveling with older children! Both beds in the room are quite large, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the bustling Jiefangbei area, surrounded by numerous shopping malls and stores. Transportation is convenient, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of dining options. The service is great, and the room design is very modern. The smart assistant, Xiao Du, controls everything, and there's a clever touch: clothes hooks specifically installed near the air conditioning vent for easy drying of clothes. It's a really thoughtful design!
