I first stayed at a single bed smoking room and then moved to a 2-bed non-smoking family room. Pictures show both rooms.
Pros:
- New, big, clean rooms, good quality towels and bedding
- Rooms facing the garden is very nice and pleasant
- Bathroom is clean and good hair conditioner is provided
- Customer service is top notch, fast and helpful response on WeChat. Front desk lady is very kind too.
- Location is safe and quiet
- Free self-serve laundry. Washer and dryer provided.
Cons:
- Poor sound proofing. Can hear everything. If you are unlucky with neighbors you will not sleep!
- No elevator at main entrance, a short flight of stairs to reach lobby
- Rooms facing the street will smell hot pot scent during dinner time
- (Also occasional noise from light traffic can be heard)
- Location is a bit far from main attractions in CBD area
- Very local neighborhood- food and activity options are very limited in the area.
Overall I would stay here again because it has fantastic value for the quality, size and service. But the problem with the thin walls and its location makes it a less attractive option.
