Magnotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street store)

The hotel is very close to the subway station, and you can walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. The hotel facilities and environment are excellent. There's a small pond with fish and turtles on the 7th-floor terrace. The only downside is how crowded Chongqing can be!

The location is excellent, and the hotel has three entrances, making it super convenient to walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Chongqing's night view is indeed stunning, though it can get very crowded, so walking is definitely the best option. The front desk staff provided great service.

Facilities: Well-equipped and very convenient. Environment: Clean and spacious. Service: Excellent! The guy at the front desk upgraded our room for free, which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was clean and had no trace of cigarette smoke! Location is great, close to everything. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I was immediately put off when I first entered the room and saw a bizarre, cracked ceiling that looked like a safety hazard. There was no phone in the room, so every time I needed something, I had to use my mobile to call the front desk long distance. The hairdryer started smelling like something was burning after only a minute of use. My neighbors used some sort of 'noise weapon' and other 'lethal weapons' that constantly disturbed my sleep. Half of the floor I was on had a piercing 'humming' noise. After I complained about it the first night, the resident internet police shot me through the wall with a 'lethal sonic weapon' and 'laser nuclear weapons' the second night.

Booked a family room, and it was spacious! The location is fantastic! It's right across from the Yangtze River Cableway, and the subway station is just across the street, making it super convenient for getting around! Raffles City, Jiefangbei, and Bayi Delicious Street are all within walking distance, which is great! The service was also excellent!

Great location, good breakfast, and excellent service! 👍 It's great value for money and definitely recommended, especially considering the price point. The hotel is also conveniently close to the main attractions, making it easy to get around.
