Ascott Raffles City Chongqing

When it comes to serviced apartments, the well-established Ascott is still the most reliable choice. The decor and hardware facilities maintain the style from back in the day, catering to expat executives from foreign companies, especially the kitchen – I absolutely love it, even though I don't cook. I originally booked a luxurious hotel in Jiefangbei, but then I changed to this one to watch the drone show, and it was absolutely the right decision. Getting a taxi in Jiefangbei is just too difficult. This location is convenient for everything, perfect for traveling with seniors. You can walk to Hongyadong, and Chaotianmen Square is right downstairs. Taking a taxi to other attractions isn't far either. Ordering takeout to eat in the room is also great for seniors to rest.

The room was clean and very comfortable. After parking, the hotel staff proactively helped me with my luggage to the front desk. All the hotel staff greeted guests warmly, and the breakfast was also rich and delicious. They even have 'Good Night Congee' at 9 PM!

This was my first time staying at an Ascott property alone, and the service was exceptional. The room came with its own washer/dryer and a small kitchen, which was great. It's also quite rare to find a bathroom with a bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. Although the room didn't have a river view, being located above Raffles City more than made up for it.

The location of Ascott Raffles City Chongqing is absolutely fantastic! Raffles City Mall is right downstairs, offering one-stop shopping, dining, and entertainment – perfect for families with kids. Chaotianmen Square is within walking distance, and it's not far from Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, saving you time stuck in traffic. Chaotianmen Station on Metro Line 1 is also right downstairs, making transfers incredibly convenient. The surrounding area where the two rivers meet offers stunning night views that you can enjoy right from your room. It's quiet yet central, providing maximum convenience for exploring Chongqing's main attractions. It's an excellent base for unlocking the city's core sights, highly recommended for family trips! We even got to see a drone show.

The room was clean and bright, and my child was very happy with it. The robot delivery for food was also very prompt. Thumbs up! A special shout-out to David, the uncle at the entrance. He was so welcoming; every time I saw him, it felt like coming home.
