Shanzhiyu Homestay, Jinyun Mountain, Chongqing

We've stayed at many guesthouses in Jinyun Mountain, but this one is so wonderful that our family wants to stay again and again. The owners are incredibly kind; the grandfather's cooking is always delicious, and the breakfast pastries are also fantastic. The view of the distant mountains from the balcony is serene and beautiful. They even offer nighttime plant and insect observation activities, which are fascinating for both adults and children. Later, we heard that this is the most authentic nighttime observation experience. The children easily made friends here, and the adults easily found enjoyable tea-drinking buddies. We'll definitely come back with friends next time.

The guesthouse is quite unique, with greenery and beautiful hydrangeas. It offers breakfast, WIFI, and a nice view.

Saturday's clear skies suddenly evoked a desire to explore the mountains. I carefully selected the Shanzhiyu B&B, and it was well worth the trip. The whitewashed, black-tiled B&B is nestled on the Jinyun Mountainside. Behind the house, lush bamboo surrounds the property, and the courtyard boasts several towering, straight trees (Metasequoia?), and in front, a half-acre vegetable patch. The host was incredibly welcoming and offered me a glass of the local "quercus tea," a sweet, aftertaste. The rooms are named after the 24 solar terms, and the staircases, eaves, bedside tables, tissue boxes, and porridge spoons—all made from locally sourced materials or meticulously crafted—embody the natural charm of a rural mountain retreat. The breakfast is hearty, and the air is fresh—perfect for relaxing, quieting, and unwinding.

有點踩雷了…特地選了貴一些的房間850的標價還是真的有點太高了 可能期待太高了吧…衹是民宿 恩 能過夜的那種 燈上蛛網還是蠻多的 席子上污跡也蠻多 房間是沒有電視機的…Wi-Fi衹能連一個機器時有時無…房間地面是有坡度的…雖然國慶山上温度比山下低 但是28度天氣開暖氣還是有點接受不了…想着熬一熬但是滿身黏糊糊的還是麻煩了店主協調 的確蠻煎熬的一晚 早上4點就有公雞一直叫…晚上12點隔壁名宿還有阿姨大叔在唱紅歌 基本衹能睡幾小時 牙刷打開有被老鼠咬的痕跡 期待民宿介紹裏的觀景天台一看堆滿了雜物…店家蠻熱心的 但是希望能更好吧…
