Chongqing Ting high altitude riverview hotel

The front desk staff were very welcoming, but unfortunately, the river view was blocked by a newly constructed high-rise building next door. The room itself was spacious, and the location was super convenient with the metro station right downstairs.

The environment here is great, and it's very soundproof. The mattress is also super comfortable. After a long train ride all night, finding such a cozy hotel truly wipes away all the fatigue. Plus, the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and toilet are a really smart design. Just a short walk downstairs and you're at Jiefangbei and Hongyadong – all the local food and attractions are so convenient! Shoutout to the front desk staff, they were so friendly! Oh, and the room also had a big bathtub, which was lovely!

Chongqing is amazing with delicious food and fun activities, but it can be quite a workout for your legs! The room was just okay. The soundproofing was decent. However, some of the wallpaper was peeling, and construction outside blocked part of the view. The service was good.

Staying at this hotel in Jiefangbei, despite it not offering breakfast, was an absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel is right in the heart of the business district, just a stone's throw from the Jiefangbei monument and Bayi Delicious Street. It's also super convenient for popular spots like Hongyadong and Kuaixinglou, and there's a subway station right outside, making exploring and dining out incredibly easy. The room decor was simple yet stylish, and it was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness. Coupled with excellent soundproofing, I enjoyed a remarkably peaceful sleep even in this bustling city center. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, with instant hot water and strong water pressure. Toiletries were comprehensive and clean – they really paid attention to the details. Even though breakfast wasn't included, there are countless Chongqing specialty breakfast spots downstairs. From Chongqing noodles and youcha to chaoshou, everything is available, affordable, and authentic, offering a much more local 'mountain city' vibe than a hotel breakfast. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in and check-out a breeze. They even thoughtfully recommended local sightseeing routes. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Chongqing!

I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel in Jiefangbei! No breakfast, but that doesn't detract from a perfect experience. The location is absolutely prime, a golden spot – just a 3-minute walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and only a ten-minute walk to Hongyadong and the Yangtze River Cableway. Bayi Delicious Street is right downstairs, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. You can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep even in the bustling city center, completely unwinding from travel fatigue. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, hot water is stable and plentiful, and toiletries are fully stocked – attention to detail is evident everywhere. The front desk (specifically Xiao Hu) provided warm and thoughtful service, making check-in quick and efficient. She even drew a handwritten map of breakfast spots nearby, recommending popular local noodle shops and bun stalls. Not having hotel breakfast actually led to a pleasant surprise; you can enjoy authentic Chongqing flavors for just a few bucks, which feels much more authentic than a buffet breakfast. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, making it perfect for both leisure and business trips. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing!
