FUNGEE River View Hotel (Hongya Cave, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Chongqing)

The hotel front desk is on the 21st floor, where they offer complimentary ice cream and popsicles. You can walk about 200 meters from the 21st floor to reach Hongyadong, or exit on the 22nd floor. The sky lobby on the 21st floor offers a pretty good river view. The service is great, and the bedding is quite comfortable. I stayed for two days and it was excellent; I'd definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay here! First off, the location is fantastic – right downstairs, you're at Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, with most of the main attractions practically on your doorstep. Secondly, the service was proactive and thoughtful. They contacted me before check-in to confirm the hotel's location, and the map they sent was spot on. They also gave us recommendations for local food, and even offered free congee or 'bingfen' (shaved ice) after 8 PM every night. Thirdly, they helped us upgrade our room, and we were able to use our Ctrip upgrade benefits. The river view from our room was beautiful! My only minor complaint is that I wish the soundproofing was a bit better. Other guests were quite noisy at night, but maybe that's just because the place is so popular! This hotel is really great! I stumbled upon it by chance, and the service was excellent. The front desk is on the 21st floor, and the location is incredibly convenient. You can reach Hongyadong just by turning right and walking about 200 meters from the ground floor. From the 22nd floor, you can easily access popular spots like Jiefangbei and Daijiaxiang. Transportation is also very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The best part is the sky lobby on the 21st floor where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful river view! It's absolutely fantastic, really good.

The location is fantastic! Just a few minutes' walk upstairs to Jiefangbei, and downstairs it's only a few minutes to Hongyadong. Public transportation nearby is also very convenient. Initially, I was worried it might be noisy being so close to the river, but it wasn't at all, and I slept really well. The front desk service was excellent, and the hotel facilities were very comprehensive. If you needed anything, you just scanned a QR code to order, and a robot would deliver it. The hotel also provided complimentary snacks like popcorn, late-night porridge, and ice cream, which was a very thoughtful touch.

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the smart amenities were a huge hit with the kids, who loved watching shows on the giant screen. We checked in in the early hours, and the butler patiently answered all my questions until 2 AM. There are many unique services, but the best by far is the luggage delivery to the high-speed rail station or airport. This is incredibly convenient for tourists visiting Chongqing, as you don't have to lug your bags up and down hills or go back to the hotel to pick them up. It was a great experience, the kids loved it, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Chongqing.
