Chongqing Tianlai Yunyun High-altitude River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles City Branch)

This hotel is absolutely amazing! It's a duplex, and the room decor is so cozy. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer incredible city views. There's a big bathtub, and the bedding is super soft and comfortable. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and there's plenty of hot water. The staff are warm and attentive – truly unforgettable! It's right by Chaotianmen subway station, directly opposite Raffles City.

The room was very spacious, offered great value for money, and the price was just right. The location in the city center was excellent. The bathtub worked perfectly, and the facilities were fantastic. Everything was clean, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming.

A must-stay for a girls' trip! This place is incredibly photogenic; I took 200 pictures in one day. The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows let in amazing light, especially at night when the ambiance is just perfect. The room is a loft, and both floors are spacious enough for two people, so you have plenty of room for getting ready, relaxing, and taking photos. Plus, there are tons of snacks and restaurants downstairs, making it super convenient to grab a bite after exploring.

Flying from Chengdu to Guangzhou with a layover in Chongqing, I was looking for a river view room to just relax. This 270° exquisite river view suite was worth every penny the moment I walked in – 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows framed both Raffles City and the Yangtze River Bridge perfectly. I was short on time and couldn't go sightseeing, so I spent the entire afternoon just gazing at the view from my room, even capturing a time-lapse of the sunset with my phone. The sofa faced the window directly, and lying down to watch the river was even more comfortable than sitting up. I woke up naturally, went downstairs to the coffee shop for a flat white, and then came back to slowly sip it by the window. When checking out, the front desk helped store my luggage and even pointed out a shortcut to the riverside. I strolled along the riverside promenade for half an hour, seeing many locals fishing. Just half a day, and this room completely cured my weariness.

I brought my mom to Chongqing this time and chose this LOFT hotel so she could experience something more modern. The moment she walked in, she went straight to the floor-to-ceiling window and exclaimed, 'This money was well spent!' She spent ages filming the river view to share with our family group chat. In the evening, I projected 'A Lifelong Journey,' a show she's been following, and she was completely engrossed, saying it was much clearer than her TV at home. Downstairs, there's a stall selling 'iron cake' snacks, and she'd go buy two every morning to eat with the peanut milk she brought herself. The room was clean, and the blackout curtains were excellent, so she woke up naturally every day. My mom was happy, and that made the trip worthwhile.

The actual place looks even better than the pictures! The river view is expansive and unobstructed, and the room is clean and comfortable. The front desk lady saw me with my suitcase and kindly offered to help me to the elevator, which was a really thoughtful service. The light rail station is right downstairs, making it super convenient for getting around. It was a comfortable and refreshing stay, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing!
