Chongqing Ashan River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles Square Branch)

This duplex hotel room is cozy and inviting, with a fantastic floor-to-ceiling window offering stunning city views. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with good quality toiletries; I especially liked the shampoo's scent. The staff were warm and attentive, helping me sign up for a free city tour that didn't have any pushy sales – definitely great value for the price! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Chaotianmen Metro Station and opposite Raffles City, making getting around super convenient.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with many attractions within walking distance, such as the Chaotianmen river view, the stunning night view of Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway – all iconic must-visit spots. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, with spacious rooms. Being on a high floor, the views are expansive. The facilities are comprehensive, and the projector is clear and smooth, making it great for watching movies. The food recommended by the front desk staff was delicious, and the night view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. I highly recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

Booked a 1.8m double bed room with my family, and the front desk arranged a 40th-floor river view room for us. The scenery was absolutely beautiful!! 👍👍 The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day, keeping the room spotless!! My family was very satisfied!! A truly wonderful experience!! I highly recommend the Yashan High-Rise River View Hotel when visiting Chongqing!! We'll definitely be back!! 💛💛💛💛

Choosing this high-rise river view suite in Chongqing was definitely the right decision! Staying on the 32nd floor, the room was incredibly spacious. The French light luxury decor looked sophisticated and was perfect for photos. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an amazing view, with both the river and city skyline completely visible. The living room had a bar counter, a large bathtub, and dual bathrooms, all fully equipped. The location is truly excellent, making it very convenient to get to all the major attractions. The bedding was comfortable, skin-friendly, and odorless. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing.

The hotel reception is on the 21st floor, and for rooms above the 30th floor, you have to switch elevators. I stayed on the 34th floor. After checking in and getting my key on the 21st floor, I took the elevator to the 30th floor, then transferred to another elevator to go up to the 34th floor. Going to the laundry room was even more complicated. The laundry room is on the 28th floor. First, I had to go from the 34th floor down to the 30th floor, then switch elevators to go to the 21st floor, and then from the 21st floor, switch elevators again to go up to the 28th floor. I was so confused, how many transfers do you need to make?! 😂😂😂 The room itself was nice and quite spacious. It would have been better if the downstairs toilet had a shower. For those sleeping downstairs, it was a hassle to have to climb upstairs just to shower, and then come back down. It was quite inconvenient. Everything else was good.
