The location was fantastic - 山城步道 is just opposite, and 10 min walk away is 十八梯. If you continue walking you will end up in 解放碑 and 洪崖洞. Walk somemore and you will reach 来福士 (took me about 2.5h). The concierge is currently on the 4th floor in a makeshift area but the girls were nice and helped me receive my taobao parcels on my behalf before my arrival. The hotel room is pretty and definitely aesthetic, but after having been to over a dozen Chinese hotels, the cleanliness can be improved as the sofa chair didn't look too clean and there was plenty of grout. The showerhead also isn't exactly in the best condition as the water was leaking from the sides. Additionally, the toilet also had a bit of sewage smell so that's something to keep in mind ~ The view from the 41st floor is amazing though and you get both street view and sea view.
