Quest on Cambridge

The room size is pretty good, and the facilities are quite new. The environment is clean and tidy. Most importantly, the location is excellent, very close to the Avon River, the Bridge of Remembrance, and the shopping street.

I didn't have high expectations initially, but when I arrived, I found the room exceptionally clean, with not a speck of dirt even in the corners. The surrounding environment was also beautiful and quiet, not noisy at all. The front desk and cleaning staff were very attentive and friendly, answering all my questions and even offering to help with my luggage. The experience exceeded my expectations, it was great!

The room was spacious, and the location was excellent – we could walk to every attraction. Parking was $25 a day, but spots were limited and needed to be reserved in advance. If you didn't have a reservation, there were street parking spaces available right outside.

The Airport Bus #8 goes directly to the hotel, which is right across from Riverside Market. It's also within walking distance to the Botanic Gardens, the university, and the Arts Centre. The rooms come with a kitchen and a dishwasher, and even better, a washer and dryer, which was incredibly convenient. I forgot to start the dishwasher after loading it with dirty dishes, and when I returned, the cleaning staff had already started it for me – super thoughtful! The bathroom even had makeup remover wipes, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Christchurch!
