The hotel is a bit far from downtown, so taxis can be hard to find. However, it’s surrounded by a lake and mountains with stunning views. The amenities are slightly dated but well maintained, and the large, clean pool is a highlight. The restaurant serves excellent food and the staff are very friendly—perfect for a quiet getaway.

The customer service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly proactive and welcoming, guiding us smoothly through check-in and promptly responding to all our needs. They introduced the hotel facilities thoroughly and always greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. They were also incredibly patient and meticulous, answering all our questions in detail, never seeming bothered even when we asked for clarification multiple times. Their efficiency and thoughtfulness truly stood out; issues were resolved promptly, and they showed great attention to detail. For instance, they proactively offered a charger when they noticed we'd forgotten ours, and extra amenities were quickly delivered to our room whenever requested. Regarding the hotel environment, it was excellent. The decor was chic and comfortable (or refined and stylish, depending on preference), and the common areas were impeccably clean. The lighting and music perfectly contributed to a truly relaxing atmosphere. As for room details, the cleanliness was impeccable. The bed linens were spotless, and the overall room hygiene was excellent.

The room was very clean and spacious, offering excellent views. It was perfect for unwinding; lying on the lounge chair and gazing at the mountain and water scenery outside the window was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is situated in a rather secluded area, so a car is definitely needed to get there. However, parking was convenient, and we had no issues finding a spot. Breakfast was plentiful, but the taste was just average. I hope they can improve on this.

The room looked nice, but the attention to detail was severely lacking. The soundproofing on the room door was nonexistent; I could hear every conversation outside crystal clear. For both nights of my stay, it didn't quiet down until midnight, only for noise to resume by 6 AM. The wall soundproofing was equally poor; I could clearly hear everything the kids and adults next door were saying. The blackout curtains were also poorly designed; direct sunlight streamed into the room every morning. The location was very isolated, with no decent dining options nearby. The hotel restaurant was a letdown: the food was terrible and overpriced, service was slow and unfriendly, and the ingredients weren't fresh. The fish soup tasted like it was from a mix, and the pork ribs seemed like they'd been sitting around for ages, heavily marinated to hide their age. Definitely steer clear of this place!

Our trip went from a slight disappointment on the first night at Green Town to a delightful surprise on the second, when we checked into Fanli, located in the innermost part of Qiandao Lake. While the location is a bit remote and the lake view isn't as expansive, its peacefulness and lack of crowds are definitely its strong suits. We still enjoyed a beautiful lake view right from our balcony. The front desk staff proactively upgraded us to a complimentary cinema bubble family room, and impressively, didn't even ask for a positive review in return! We were also pleasantly surprised to find three generous servings of breakfast, with a good variety of dishes. I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling by car.

Overall, the hotel was quite good. The room was super spacious; we booked a family room that was 60 square meters and featured a massive lake-view balcony. There was a huge soaking tub inside the room, which the kids absolutely loved for indoor water play. The family room featured two beds: a 2-meter king bed and a 1.35-meter full-size bed, which was perfect for our family of two adults and two children. The hotel's outdoor swimming pool was very clean with excellent water quality. The changing rooms and restrooms were also spotless. Amenities included a children's playground with a sandpit, a small mini-theater (screening two movies daily), and a decent-sized gym. Breakfast options were limited but satisfactory. We were pleasantly surprised by the à la carte dining; the food was surprisingly delicious, and the prices were reasonable. However, the location is a bit secluded, about a 25-minute drive from the city center, so it's advisable to bring extra snacks and fruits. We would definitely visit again!

This was my second visit, this time during the summer vacation. Perhaps because it was so busy, the male front desk staff member was clearly new/inexperienced and quite inflexible in his communication. I arrived a little after 1 PM and was told the room wasn't ready, so I'd have to wait 40 minutes. When I inquired again at 2 PM, I received the same response, and I finally checked in closer to 3 PM. The service was a significant step down from my first visit. Aside from that, everything else was fine. The pool was very clean, and my child had a great time playing there.

The hotel is nestled in a peaceful corner of Qiandao Lake, making it perfect for a relaxing staycation. The rooms are very spacious, and the infinity pool offers direct lake views. There's also a kids' pool with slides and afternoon bubble sessions. At the kids' club, you can even inflate swim rings. They also have a small animal petting area with lambs, rabbits, squirrels, and peacocks, where you can bring your own carrots and leafy greens to feed them. Our kids had an absolutely fantastic time during our 3-day, 2-night stay. Dining options outside the hotel are quite limited, so we ended up eating at the hotel for two days, and the food was surprisingly good. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and they even gifted us some handmade noodles.

Excellent! It's a bit of a drive into the mountains, but that makes it much quieter, perfect for a family getaway to relax, enjoy the scenery, and get some peaceful rest. The front desk upgraded our room to a fantastic two-story loft! The food at the restaurant was delicious, but the service was a bit slow. My child absolutely loved the billiards room! We'll definitely be back next time we visit Qiandao Lake. It's much better than the one we stayed at in the main lake district area last year! I definitely prefer this one!

An amazing hotel! We fell in love since the moment we entered, everything was very clean, smells good, the food restaurant it’s also exquisite; the room with such a beautiful view, excellent customer service! We loved it as well the swimming pool, and all the activities you can do inside the hotel… we are definitely coming back again 🥰🥰🥰

Perfect view ever The view and the set up of the room was breathtaking. They allowed me to take my breakfast to my room and also were very friendly about everything. The hotel has guides in the room about where to find anything around. Highly recommended
