We are quite happy to stay in this relatively new (about one year old) hotel, Nostalgia S (时光漫步 S) for 4 nights. It incorporates several new features such as voice control, auto-flush and lighting toilet, curtain etc. comfortable and convenient for travelers .

The hotel is right at the front of Fish Street 鱼街 which has many restaurant, and it is about a 30 minute walk to the wharf for tourist trips around Qiandao Lake. There are also a few buses that can get you there quicker. The hotel was big and very clean, as were the rooms. The bathroom has an open layout, it is not separate from the room, with a shower and toilet cubicle. The breakfast was only ok, but the pool table was an added bonus on the ground floor.

The soundproofing of the room is not very good. You can hear the chats and conversations of the people in the next room at night. There is a street downstairs, and there is still noise from cars.

When I stayed with my colleagues, they booked a room on the third floor for more than 200 yuan. I booked a room on the fourth floor for 345 yuan, which was euphemistically called a king bed room with lake view. Only when I entered the room did I understand why the curtains in the promotional picture were not open! What kind of lake view is this!
