Fairfield Inn & Suites Cincinnati Uptown/University Area

Wonderful stay We came to Cincinnati for a Reds game and to go to the zoo. We lived there about 20 years ago, and enjoy going back for fun and food! This is the first time that we have stayed near University of Cincinnati and it was an excellent choice for us. The distance from the zoo and stadium is perfect. There is a wide variety of food options available near the hotel within walking distance, and a short drive or bus ride. The hotel is clean, welcoming, well kept, and employees are incredibly friendly. There is a calmness about the place that was relaxing. Katie does a wonderful job with the breakfast and is such a pleasant presence in the morning. We would definitely stay here again and be disappointed if she wasn't working. The managers came to help in the breakfast area when it was busy and cleared plates. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would stay again. It is on a busy university street which didn't bother us, it added to our enjoyment. (This hotel is very near our home when we lived there, another bonus!)

The area had some nice restaurants and stores within walking distance, some even across the street. Parking was behind the hotel at a public parking garage, there was not a attached enclosed walkway,nor is there a back entry until you have a key card. So I would suggest one person get out at the entrance and get a key and one go park The car and meet in the back. Not to bad unless the weather is bad.
