Gaslight Bed & Breakfast

This B&B is one of a kind. It's unique, welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful prepared by Maria herself! She is a great narrator of her own life experiences. She also has a wealth of knowledge of things to do in the area. If you are looking for place with peace and tranquility, great hospitality and food, this is the place to be! Maria thank you for being such a great host!

The B&B is beautifully decorated and in a historic Cincy neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious and Maria is a wonderful host! We highly recommend Gaslight B&B.

We have nothing but good things to say about this bed-and-breakfast. It was our first experience staying at a Bed & Breakfast. I tried to surprise my wife with it, She truly enjoyed her stay there. Maria was very helpful, kind, friendly, hospitable. It was an excellent stay for us. It does have a lot of stairs, but the place was clean well maintained, I love the bedroom at the top, had its own bathroom, we had great privacy. It was great.

Horrible. False advertisement. Dead plants, tools laying on the front porch, Maria acted surprised when we arrived. No pool table, sauna, fire pit, ladders and construction everywhere outdoors. No sign stating it was a bed and breakfast as advertised on the website and *******. Bedding was horrible. We left within 2 hours.

The owners have put time and effort into making each room not only comfortable, but visually appealing with very unique and unusual pieces of furniture and art. Each room has a name. We stayed in the Jewel Room which had a low Victorian couch, desk a chair with a heart shaped velvet seat, a round dresser with multiple drawers, 65 inch tv supported by greek/roman columns with glass in-between. Of course a beautiful wrought iron bed with fluffy pillows on top of a down comforter. This room also had an outside covered patio with a round table and chairs if you wanted to sit out and enjoy a bottle of wine. Plenty of hangers with thick fluffy robes. The bathroom was in the hallway but dedicated to this room. The soap in the bathroom is all natural for anyone with sensitive skin. There are 4 rooms total. Two on the 2nd floor, one on the 3rd floor , where we were and one on the 4th floor. On our floor there is a beautiful sitting room and also has the kitchen where breakfast is served. For breakfast Marie served us chicken maple sausages, French toast cooked in layers with cream cheese inside topped with this delicious homemade raspberry sauce along with fresh strawberries, cantaloupe and pineapple. This would be our second time at the Gaslight. In closing if you are fortunate and blessed to book a reservation you will have the experience that every one of your senses will appreciate and the hospitality that you will never get at any other B&B.

Room was spotless and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious.the hostess was lovely and told entertaining stories. the guests were nice too. i would highly recommend staying here.

The entire place was so lovely and the host was absolutely amazing. The bed was comfy, both the room and bathroom were super clean, the breakfast was so delicious and the location was perfect! Would definitely return. Best price for all we got!!!

It’s so neat that Maria and her husband have restored and are the caretakers for this wonderful house. The interior is charming, grand, and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, along with Maria’s stories. We also enjoyed the front deck as a cozy, quiet place to sit in the evening and watch the neighborhood. I can imagine what it would have been like to grow up in such a grand house 100 years ago? Also, the inn is within walking distance of restaurants and a classic theater to the south.
