Premier Inn London Blackfriars

Hotel in center, Well maintained, white tiles in bathroom like hospital. we had to ask for cleaning service, from the reception, every morning. Anyway it was free to change towels, change linen or clean the room . No slippers , we had to walk bare foot in the room. Wifi ok , but around 20.00-21.00 was a bit slow Breakfast ok , not bad .we stayed 7 nights and every day exactly the same breakfast with no changes at all . Even the fruits were the same . Nice coffee Hot water in the bathroom all the time Next time I will stay in another Premier Inn to compare services

Room smelt must because the extractor fan in the bathroom was broken. To be fair, it was quite late at night and I could not be bothered to discuss with the staff at the time, but the musty smell did bother me during the night

Custoners must be informed that they can be accommodated in basement! In my case I got number in basement, there were higher humidity, smell of mold. I have a mold allergy, thankfully my room was changed next day after.

Went with family group for sightseeing. Very helpful staff. Peaceful location so enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Loved the bar area with sofas.

Every member of staff has a brilliant smile, and they could not be more helpful. Great quiet location, large rooms with a decent bathroom, and a brilliant breakfast. With a modern interior and in good condition throughout, a great position for the City, Tate Modern and St Paul’s.

This was my 3rd stay in PIB and as usual we had a great stay. It’s not a luxury hotel but it has a lovely lobby/restaurant area which is perfect for a family trip. Food is reasonable and tasty. Staff were very helpful and friendly as they have been on previous visits. They’re a real asset to the hotel. It’s so convenient as we got the train directly from Gatwick Airport to Blackfriars station and the hotel is just across the road. We purchased daily travel tickets for the underground in BF station and used the little Pret A Manger for coffee and pastries on a few occasions. The only issue I had was with our room. I requested a twin room as I was travelling with my son and the room had one really comfortable double bed and a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable by comparison. Breakfast was also cancelled on the last day as the kitchen was closed. We’d paid in advance and I got a refund but had to send an email chasing it. It should have been done automatically. It also would have been a nice touch to have had some juice or pastries available in reception for guests that day. There was an option to go to another PI hotel but it was raining and a 10 minute walk away. All in all I would definitely return if staying in London again.

something is fishy about this hotel. i booked a room, wanted to extend my stay and searched for their contact information. i tried every option available; phone, email, internet web address. all posted an error code that this site is not available. they took my money but are not available to talk to me. Hmmmmm.
