We had a great time staying in this historic cabin. Check-in instructions were very clear and we had no problems. We did contact Brad about arrival time and he was very responsive. As advertised, the cabin is rustic. But the shower had lots of pressure and hot water! There were plenty of electric outlets. We loved that it was just a short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the ZigZag River to Fernies Coffee. Days were spent at The Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood, Government Camp (Huckleberry Shakes and Charlie’s!), and Lake Trillium. One caution about the cabin, there is a lack of storage. The downstairs bedroom does have a small space to hang items, but nearly all dressers contain bedding. Easy to keep things in the suitcase and stored under the bed, though. And do take the warning of wildlife seriously. Our (adult) kids were walking down the street at night and saw a bear. He saw them and ran into the neighbor’s yard.Overall, a nice time here at Laughing Bear.

Charming and cozy This eclectic cabin has a delightful hint of every decade from the 20th century, while still having all the essential modern amenities to make a vacation comfortable. The "yard" is stunning, magical and a perfect place to unwind and be free.

Unique and Cozy A group of 7 friends and I stayed at this cabin during our university's spring break to get some fun skiing in at Hood. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy but unique in its log cabin design and layout. It was definitely a little tight with 8 people, but if your all good friends, it's not a problem. The area is beautiful and feels more secluded than it actually is.

Perfect Rustic Cabin in the Woods My adult family and I enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin. It was perfect. We enjoyed long walks in the snow and sitting by the fireplace playing games. I would definitely go again.
