We needed to use an e-credit from airline before it expired a decided to go to Tampa/Clearwater and after a short search we chose Shephard's Beach Resort. Construction is being done and we weren't sure were to enter because of lack of signs. We went down to the Tiki bar and sat there without being waited on so we left and went across street to get a drink and eat. It was to cold to enjoy the beach and it didn't cost extra to park . I don't know if there is much to do without leaving the property although there was a band that played until 2am Sunday morning making it hard for those of us who prefer to sleep. I will not be back to this property but it might be a good place for someone else.

The room was nice, and clean. I appreciated the quiet heat/AC unit. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette and small balcony were great bonuses. Nice pool and tiki bar. Would definitely stay again.

Nice beach access and active Tiki Bar area with live music. Pleasant rooms with balconies. The restaurant was being remodeled so that was not available.

Great location with private beach. Close to lots of restaurants and attractions. We stayed on the street side after reading about late night music. Much quieter but the base was still pretty loud. Bathrooms could use a bit more attention. I would stay again for the beach and location.

Our favorite place on Clearwater beach!! Great service and atmosphere!! Clean comfortable. Short walk to all the best restaurants and Clearwater. Ready to book our next stay.
