Just an hour drive from Banff National park is this western themed 1 BR suite with huge entertainment space both indoors -electric fire place, HONESTY BAR ,a piano and a projector screen and outdoors-Valley and Mountain views with easy access to walk/bike trails . Experience true feeling of Alberta during your stay.
Located just off the highway 1A at the west end of Cochrane. 15 mins to Ghost Lake, 40 Mins to Canmore and Kananaskis.
The space
Welcome to your home away from home. You will feel very welcomed in this warm home. The office, living room, bar cum kitchenette are all open concept while each space still feels exclusive.
The practical secretary desk is laptop friendly or feel free to plug into the HDMI/Thunderbolt to watch your favorite stuff on big projector screen.
Curl up with a book by the fireplace while you play your favorite music over the home theater system (aux). Binge a snack from our snack basket from the comfort of the couch.
In the bar, You will find few liquor bottles on the tap and some nice wine on the rack. Have a refreshing drink and payout for what you drink in the tin on the counter.
For all your basic kitchen needs you can find, mugs ,plates and bowls and glassware.
There is a sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. There is also an electric kettle and Nespresso so you can help yourself to tea or coffee.
Get a good night's sleep on the queen-size memory foam mattress in the Master Bedroom.
Outdoor on the patio is a great conversational set that seats 4 and an Outdoor firepit in the Garden along with serene mountain views.

The space has private access through the steps and the hosts live on the main floor and can be contacted via text or through messages via Airbnb.

Private parking is available in the front driveway. Private entrance access via an electronic padlock. We had a great stay here! It felt right at home. Love the projector that makes it feel like you’re in a movie theatre. I will say however that the microwave was too small to make a bag of popcorn which kind of ****** but we brought other snacks. And there is no mixing bowls or a hot plate or pots or pans to make food. There is a small grill outside which is nice but a little hard to make a side dish or anything. It was no different than staying in a hotel though with more features than a normal hotel so overall I would definitely recommend staying here! The owner was also great to communicate with. She texted back very quickly and solved any issue we came across!

Beautiful view of pasture, cattle and mountains.Sadly the small back yard, in front of this beautiful view, was unkept and needed some care and attention.Household noise from the floor above was a factor at night in the bedroom. But, a lot of the conversation consisted of laughter, so kind of hard to be negative about that.

It was very clean. However it was in the basement. We thought it was going to be the whole house as mention in the description but it was a the basment and not cooker just a sink fridge and microwave

Nice location at the edge of town. Bed sheets and towels could have been newer. They were clean but very old. If you’re looking for budget friendly, this works. Backyard and covered por h was nice as wellt

The property was easy to find , comfortable and clean. We let ourselves in and enjoyed a view of the mountains from the back deck . The road out the back door was pretty busy however. This may calm down once construction in the neighborhood finished.

Liked quiet residential neighborhood. Dislikes: no kitchen, not very accessible if you have mobility challenges.
