Dorint An der Messe Köln

It would be good to know that the city of Cologne charges a high city tax in addition to the accommodation price, which has to be paid upfront at the front desk. The invoice is only provided after check-out. The internet was overloaded and didn't work, making the in-room tablet useless. The staff could only offer standard apologies like 'I'm sorry.' The price was outrageous for what was offered! It's an outdated 3-star hotel with a tiny TV. The coffee was from the cheapest instant powder. The towels need to be replaced; they're completely worn out, even after multiple changes. Next time, I'll stay in a better hotel and give the exorbitant price difference to a taxi driver instead.

A very nice hotel with air conditioning! We felt very comfortable.

The hotel itself is not bad. The reception is friendly and everything is clean. I would have been quite satisfied if I hadn't been disappointed by the breakfast. The breakfast selection is okay, but for a 4-star hotel, it could be significantly better. The worst part, however, was that although the breakfast room is very large, it was completely overcrowded. I think several very large groups must have arrived for breakfast at the same time. First you had to look for a table, and then many items had run out (Sunday at 9:15 AM. Among other things, bacon, bread rolls, cheese, fruit salad, cake, and some cold cuts were missing — sure, these are just momentary snapshots, but I went to the buffet 3 or 4 times, and something was always missing). The staff couldn't keep up by a long shot... To the staff's credit, there were quite a few of them and everyone worked hard. But too many guests are simply too many... If it weren't for the partly empty buffet and the overflowing breakfast room, I would have gladly given it a "good" rating...

We had a wonderful time at Dorint. Our maisonette room was fantastic. The breakfast was very good, and all the staff members were extremely friendly.

Super friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is spacious and clean, the rooms are big, roomy, and clean.

The hotel's ancillary facilities are exceptionally well-equipped, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of exquisite dishes that will thoroughly satisfy any food lover. The staff are attentive and prompt, and their meticulous service makes the entire check-in experience flawless. Highly recommended for friends looking to unwind, relax, and indulge themselves!

Very friendly and attentive. Great location in Deutz for concerts and the exhibition center.
