Hotel is very historically number one hotel in Sri Lanka. I love the beach and garden view. Food is excellent choice. Staff everyone is very courteous and well organise and presentable. All staff are consistently helpful. I love ambient of the hotel.

The breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. The views are fantastic, and the pool is massive! The sea view is stunning, and it's definitely an Instagrammable spot. There's even a museum and a lot of very old buildings. It's really excellent, I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely comfortable room. Good room service and fabulous breakfast. No hairdryer in room. Check in delayed for nearly half an hour because room hadn’t been cleaned by 2pm.

A super-clean and well maintained colonial hotel, breakfast and diner- buffets were really good,cleaning staff were very friendly, but restaurant and reception staff could be more more service minded. The whole hotel is not well lighted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it's just like stepping back in time to enjoy the Colonial period. All the staff were welcoming and courteous. The breakfast and evening buffet were very good. Great location too.
