Staybridge Suites COLUMBUS-AIRPORT by IHG

The room was spacious and nice. The pool and gym were not as clean as they looked in the photos. The service from the reception staff and hotel staff was very good.

definitely feel the skimping on this brand lately. Staybridge used to have the best breakfast, now there are no hot items during the week. We are over the "grab and go" 2020 virus is over!. They used to have great scones. Now they case is empty or gross otis spunkmier muffins. Cheap walmart plates at the breakfast. The room did not have a phone. The room did not have pen/paper. The hotel used to have pump lotion and soap, now they dont, The room had a beat up bathroom. It looked like someone's dog was locked in there and scratched all over it.

The property was maintained. I did discover one roach in my bathroom but it was dead. They did mess up my room informing me when I got there that the room I originally reserved was no longer available. They did compensate for one complimentary room and the other room I paid for. So me and my friends were not all together as well expected but it worked out. There is no weekend cleaning staff FYI.

Had plenty of space in the room and bed was comfortable . Would stay here again Hotel was close to downtown Columbus . Would stay here again when in the area.

The suite itself was equipped efficiently. We were there for a volleyball tournament only stayed one night however cooking is available with all things available in the suite.

No Hotel shuttle (out of order), the elevator was stopped (OUT OF ORDER), very old furniture, NOT EVERY DAY CLEANING (room)!

The breakfast was better on the last stay. Sausages looked under cooked. Fountain machines did not work. Children were running through the hallway. Overall the staff was friendly. I didn’t like the sliding door for the bathroom in the room.

The gentleman couldnt find my ********* reservation, so he put a $100 hold on my credit card for several days. There was no food on the breakfast bar and there was still 45 minutes before breakfast was over. There was no plates, we were told they were all in the dishwasher. Only waffles to eat out of bowls. Then when food was brought out, it was some microwaved chicken tenders. They clearly didnt expect.people that dont live there to come down to eat. The elevator was broken. I just had a hip replacement and once I got all the way up the stairs with my belongings, the door keys didnt work and I had to travel all the way back down.to the lobby. Its clear that the only money put into the hotel was to update the lobby, as the rooms are antiquated with old appliances and cigarette burns on the tub. Once we.got in our rooms, there was.nothing to explain check out time or breakfast hours. I was TRULY upset that I paid the amount I did for a subpar hotel, and plan on contacting management, as I would like some type of compensation.

Elevator didn't work, side door to stair card reader didn't work. Double charge me on accidental for my room.
