I booked a King guest room with a sofa bed, but when I arrived, there was no sofa bed—only a small one-seat sofa. This is quite different from the pictures provided by the hotel.
The location is great if you're working at the nearby Columbus Great Convention Center. However, be sure to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb, as these are not provided. Also, check your bill when you check out; I was incorrectly charged $39 per day for valet parking, even though I didn’t have a car.
The staff were not very friendly. Additionally, I found a peanut on the floor when I arrived, which raises concerns about the cleanliness of the hotel.

Service was extremely slow in restaurant/ bar. Waited over 30 minutes for cocktails and ended up leaving before they even arrived. There were 2 of us.

Overall, my stay was very good – the hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the lack of soundproofing. I’m not sure if there was construction going on, but I did hear some loud banging at times, which made it hard to fully relax. Aside from that, everything else was excellent.

Hotel was very clean and staff seemed to be helpful and polite for the most part. There was no AC in the executive suite and was informed there was an HVAC problem and they were trying to fix it. A box fan from maintenance was the fix and the room stayed close to 80 degrees the entire stay. I was later told that I wouldn’t be charged for the room but instead they charged my card a second time at the hotel for the amount of the room and then credited that amount back. The original payment I made through ********** I was still charged for so they didn’t actually do anything except make it appear as if I had been credited for the room. The physical hotel itself is not bad if your HVAC is working properly. The whole ordeal with charging me a second time and refunding that to make it initially appear as if I was receiving compensation for the stay with money I was already owed is petty, low and disrespectful. That’s not how any customer should be treated and frankly I’m shocked that this is a representation of the Marriott hotel managerial staff.

Disappointment
We werr in town for our sons graduation from OSU and our stay ended on a disappointing note. The roof top restaurant bar was unexpectedly closed for maintenance on our 2nd night of our two night stay. This was very dispointing due to the fact that my wife and I planned to have dinner and drinks with our son here after hid graduation. This was the whole reason that i booked this specific hotel. We had to change our plans very last minute and most restaurants were already booked.
