La Posada del Torcal

Facilities: The hotel offers beautifully designed, comfortable rooms, some with private terraces and stunning views. The large swimming pool and honesty bar are appreciated by guests, and the property features well-maintained gardens and relaxing lounge areas.

What a marvellous place to rewind, yet with great nature at it’s doorstep and Andalusia’s marvellous cities within easy reach by car. Jurgen and Veerle make you feel at home. They are not only great hosts but great chefs as well. A great cosy “hub” for your Andalusia explorations. Simply loved it!

We found this Posada as it is just off the Andalusian coast to coast walking route and what a find ; we liked everything about it.The Belgian hosts are experienced in business and hospitality and it shows plus they have a sense of humour and are good company.Charlotte who assists when they are busy is also very pleasant and highly professional. Our room,Cezanne is spacious and has its own patio with the pool accessible through the garden which is a bit of a work in progress but they have tremendous plans for the place. The pool is big enough for a proper swim and there are splendid views from the poolside and it’s jacuzzi: how about an infinity pool guys ? Dinner is first class and good value with a fairly priced wine list. Most guests have their own transportation but it is also easily accessible by taxi from Malaga. There is great hiking and cycling available from the Posada. As you can tell,we really liked it here and will return one day.
