I stayed at the Ocean Resort Hotel during the Christmas holidays for two consecutive years. I really like it here. It feels like home! The owner is very welcoming and I will stay here again next year!

small issue with check-in and a room that got missed in the cleaning that day, but it was rectified right away with a new room
things happen, and nobody's perfect
they were very apologetic and made it right, onward and upward
i like that the room floors are solid and not carpet, the room had a really good-sized fridge/freezer, murphy bed, desk, small dining table w/2 chairs, and space for hanging clothes
bathroom was basic and clean, good water pressure in the shower, and i liked the full gamut of options in the shower's wall-mounted dispenser
front desk & cleaning staff were all super, look where they live!
nobody escapes the island, mostly because they don't want to

The staff was friendly and the hotel has a relaxing laid back ambiance.
Unfortunately, throughout the night the pipes moaned after each toilet flush and there was a very loud screeching that started up over half a dozen times. So loud we couldn't sleep. Don't put anyone one in room 217 until this is fixed!

This place has never failed us. Same high quality for the bargain price. If all you need is a clean, comfortable place to relax and sleep after a day of exploring the are, this place is it.

Upon arrival, our room was freezing cold. We asked if we could change rooms because it was so cold(61 degrees F-16 degrees C.) We were told to change to an ocean view room was $40 more. I said our room was freezing to which the man said roomkeeping must have set it there. So I once again asked and he said, “Whatever.” Our room never warmed up until 4 am and it stayed at 69 degrees F.(20 degrees C.) until we left. We will not go back.
