Everything was about right, except the breakfast. The Clariion offered a variety of cereals, but no milk.for the cereal. The vast majority of cereal eaters add milk to this dish. Something minor and possibly a personal sensitivity is that a hotel was once traditionally supposed to be a home away from home and guest were to be welcomed as hosts would wanted guests. In my several contacts with the front desk, I was treated properly and competently but not welcomed, not with a smile and wishes that I enjoy the hotel. Doing what I'm suggesting wouldn't cost the Clarion anything, but it would likely make your guests more likely to return.

I was charged 235$ for sheet and told that because I had a lady accident they kept the deposit when I spoke to there receptionist she made me feel dirty by saying she would never have an lady accident at a hotel knowing that it’s unpredictable or like I did it on purpose and the beds were dirty but charged me for sheets but don’t but new mattresses. Will never come back here again. And when asked to speak to a manager I was told they don’t have any in the morning so I asked for a time they come in and she told me whenever they want to come in.

I stayed at the Clarion Hotel for 6 days. It was relatively clean. Facing the classic California sunshine every day in August was unforgettable. There are many commercial centers near the hotel, which are lively on weekends. There is a golf club opposite. Although it is a suburb, the planning and scenery are good. The large and small communities are next to each other; the people are relatively friendly, and they greet each other more than making eye contact; and the hotel's breakfast remains the same for many days: vegetarian scrambled eggs, thin grilled sausages, small potato chips, coffee, etc.

Not bad, not great, just average I arrived at the front desk only to be informed that my reservation was canceled because the credit card used to hold the room was declined. My mistake was that my card had expired between making the reservation and showing up for my trip. Okay, that’s on me but to cancel my whole reservation? Why not just ask me for a different card? This also happened to the guests in front of me. Anyway, I was able to get and pay for another room but at a higher rate. But my check in was stressful and irritating. The room was okay. Clean and quiet (at least after the pool closed and the kids left). So although we had a decent stay I have decided I will not be back.

Staff was rude, beds were uncomfortable, walls were thin, and I didnt appreciate being charged a deposit larger than the actual price of the room. Not to mention I was told I wouldnt get my deposit back for 3-5 business days. Motel 6 would have been a better choice than here. Will not staying here ever agian and I recommend no one else should either.
