amazing hotel! very clean and quiet with friendly and efficient staff. Pet friendly. Good area to do an outdoor run (the street its on is a loop that goes through restaurants and hotels).

Amazing stay as usual
When I visit Charlotte I always stay at Wingate because the hotel is awesome from cleanliness to their amazing breakfast. I've never had a bad experience here....ever! Thank you to the team at the front to all those in housekeeping. Just know that you are 5 stars and more!

The hotel was clean, the morning breakfast was good. However, what is described as a “sweet” is not accurate. The rooms are very small, and the pullout couch and the bed are pretty close together.

Easy check in and check out. The property is well maintained and clean. We were surprised how quiet and comfortable our stay was despite being so close to a major highway. We will stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable. Our bathroom had a broken sink. The ice machines weren’t working on our floor. Overall the stay was pleasant but they could do some repair work.

Only was able to locate one ice machine that was operational.
No maintenance staff on duty during a busy event weekend with a "sold out" hotel. Had to unclog my own toilet and figure out how to get it to work without clogging through the weekend.
Breakfast was mediocre for continental breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom door stuck so bad to the floor we had to push and pull it open and close.
I told Matt about it and he became hostile and I said the door was a hazard, a fire hazard. He said he would have maintenance look at it, but he was indignant. He should not be at the front desk. The gentleman that checked us in was very professional and pleasant.
