Seaspray Yeppoon

We had an exceptional stay at Skipper Shack in Seaspray Yeppoon. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking panoramic ocean view—a true spectacle from sunrise to sunset. 🌅 The house is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, providing all the comfort needed for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this house and can’t wait to come back! 🏡✨

Staff were very nice nice and clean massive house for cheap 10/10 would go again 50m from beach the owners come have chats to you which you don’t see very often which was good I would recommend coming here. About a five minute drive to the snorkeling boat

Beachfront location about 20 mins walk to Yeppoon town centre. Units are spacious and fully equipped. Decor is basic but everywhere was clean. Grounds around the Units are neat and well maintained. Brian was helpful and friendly. Lovely cafés in town for brekkie, Lure living or Citrus, which is where we dined, delicious and great service.

Seaspray cancelled my booking at short notice stating that they were overbooked and advised I should seek a refund from wotif. Wotif ******* advises that seaspray refused to honour the refund. Legal action pending. Buyer beware before proceeding with any booking at this accommodation.

The view was beautiful and it was handy to town but that was it. We were on the 5th floor and 2 of the 3 nights we had to walk up the 5 flight of stairs to get to our room. Our friends were on the 8th floor and had to carry two babies and their luggage up to the 8th floor. The next day we met a family whose child would not get into the lift after being traumatized from being caught in the lift when it stopped part way to their 8th floor room. Complaints were made to the management but didn't even answer our call. The receptionist was very sympathetic but the manager couldn't care less. We tried to get a refund for our last night as we were over walking up 5 flights of stairs but was told it wasn't their policy. Going by reviews it sounds like this has been going on from at least last December and still not fixed. So long as they have their customers they are happy no matter about the safety of the public. We were notified late in the afternoon the day before we moved in that the lift was having problems but no refunds for cancellation were allowed. It is not on that visitors should have to walk their luggage up to 8 floors. They advertise there is a bar and breakfast is available. It is a shame as this could be a nice place to stay but unfortunately the management has no respect for it's customers.

Our family first visited Seaspray in 2014 and have visited multiple times a year since, sometimes occupying four units. With cosy relaxed family atmosphere just a few steps from the beach, Seaspray is managed by Blossom, a charming hostess with the mostest. Seaspray for our family is a place of relaxation, fun and healing. Hope it never modernises or changes.
