Rooms are on the smaller side, and with many rooms per floor, sound insulation isn't ideal (earplugs advisable). The hotel doesn't provide toiletries or even umbrellas, so be sure to pack your own. The location, however, is flawless. It's just a stone's throw from the Central Station, making airport transfers incredibly convenient. There's a 7-Eleven and a bakery right by the entrance, and the main shopping street is only a five-minute walk away. For this price point in Copenhagen, you really can't complain!
Location-wise, the hotel has it all since it’s very close and walkable from Copenhagen Central Train Station. It’s also nearby the Fisketorvet Copenhagen Mall and other shops and stops and spots such as the Tivoli Gardens. The hotel itself looks structurally elegant from the outside and inside. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Their rooms I think have minimalist concept wherein they have tried to squeezed the space although it wasn’t a concern for a solo traveler like myself. The interior design not just the room but the other areas such as the lobby and dining area were refreshing, smart, and relaxing. I just wished they could have added more or other options into their breakfast such as hot soup or hot noodle soup or anything like that. And also, you need to pay if you want hot water when water should be an accessible and free commodity for guests who already availed their service and booked a room. Moreover, I think their laundry offer was a bit expensive as it was per unit per different types of clothings. Maybe per kilo of collective clothing for laundry would be a friendlier option for guests and tourists so everybody happy. 😁😇 Overall WakeUp Copenhagen Hotel is still a must-booked hotel amongst your options if you happen to go to Copenhagen. Cheers!
I can’t imagine a better location for a stay in Copenhagen. Being right next to the main train station made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. The room was just the right size for a couple, and the in-room sink was a thoughtful touch that made getting ready in the mornings and evenings much smoother. The shared bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise — each toilet and shower had its own private cubicle, which felt much more comfortable and well-designed compared to typical hostel setups. The room didn’t have air conditioning, but the fan provided was more than enough for me, even though I normally run hot. We noticed the room could feel a bit stuffy with the windows closed, so we tried to keep them open as much as possible. The downside was that the street noise from people and cars at night sometimes disturbed our sleep. The only other drawback was the luggage storage. It’s not included in the stay, and there’s an extra charge of 40 DKK per bag for the day, plus a 5 DKK service fee per bag. A small detail, but something worth knowing in advance.

The hotel is very easy to find. After landing, just take the M3 blue line metro for 7 stops, and you'll find it diagonally opposite the station. Check-in was very straightforward, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English. The only downside was the breakfast; for 125 DKK, it felt like I didn't get much for my money.
The 4 floor staircases is really a challenging step after the whole day city walk... Also the street noise from the drunk and the door slams noises from the next door also cause frustration during the late night sleeping hour.
Fantastic place to stay. Will definitely visit again. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a “hostel” to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday but we had the best time! There were lots of guests who weren’t young. You just need to be able to get on your hands and knees for the bed! 🤭 There is ample room to sit up in bed. This place has hotel level facilities without the cost. There is a 7/11 store 2 blocks away. Under 10 minutes to walk to Enghave Plads Metro station where there is a beautiful square with lots of cafes to get breakfast. It was about 20 minutes to walk to Tivoli Gardens.
Objectively speaking, for this price point, the hotel's overall condition is quite good. While the buffet wasn't my favorite, I couldn't find anything better in the area. As for roommates, that's purely down to personal luck and other factors and shouldn't be used as a basis for evaluation.
Location is central. All major tourist attractions are 20 mins by walk.
Breakfast is decent.
Coffee (at the dining place) all day, fruits all day, candies on stairway corners are finer things which make it interesting.
Also, the small incentives (like small cookie pack) if you decline room cleaning adds to the pleasant experience.
There was a lamp placed under the bed with a motion sensor, intended to turn on for safety reasons when approaching the bed. The problem was that it switched on every time we turned over during the night – turning on and off constantly. We called the reception in the middle of the night and were told that it could not be turned off. The next morning, we spoke with a manager who was very understanding and tried to find a solution, as our night’s sleep had been completely disrupted because of this.
The location is super convenient- a short walk from the central station. Friendly service with a nice bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. It also has a decent rooftop with seating. I do want to point out the below: no USB or Typr C plug in the room, no hot water in the bathroom sink (maybe in the summer there is no hot water?) odd shaped pillows, odd shaped electric sockets that do not work well with travel converters

Great
Ssp5151Wonderful experience at villa copenhagen. The check-in took a little too long because we booked 1 large bed but they put me to twin room. The lady receptionist tried to solved it best as she could. We stayed here 2 nights. The rooftop pool experience is a must for the visit. The room interior is fully and classy decorated with high quality materials. Bed was nice. I recommended this hotel if you transit by train. The location is right by the train platform, back exit. The lobby bar vibe was cozy and lively.
CcmtsuigolfThe location is perfect, just next to the central train station with extensive transport coverage including the airport. This is a hotel with history and class that other modern hotels can't match. The bar, the old elevator etc are simply a classic! Staff friendly and helpful too!

Great
GGuanjiaderiziSomeone swiped their card to get in in the middle of the night and complained to the hotel, saying they were responsible for sanitation, which is nonsense.
AAlex LBooked Coco hotel on a sort of a rush for New Year and by a recommendation from a friend. When I checked the reviews later on was a bit hesitant about my decision, complaints about cleaness, noise, service.
In my case I found all the opposite.
First great surprise: I had to make an ammendment on my booking and Coco hotel staff was accomodating.
Service and communication: Before my arrival, I made few inquiries by email to Coco Hotel. I got everything sorted out, the replies were fast and got tons of useful information.
Room were not big, not great but for Europe and Particularly Copenhagen standards were good enough
I stayed in Winter so a fridge wasn't something i really needed.
Room service came everyday, very clean and kind, always with a smile.
Coco Hotel also has a very nice Coffee/bar on the first floor. I was staying on the level 1 (not ground level) and hardly heard a noise
Lonela and Saulius at the frontdesk were always responsive and very very ver kind.
Llucia51When traveling in Northern Europe, I always choose the Scandic chain because their breakfast is rich, with a wide selection and plenty of hot dishes, which is more suitable for Chinese palates, compared to other hotels in the same price range. This time, I unexpectedly booked a hotel with a bathtub. The room itself was much larger, and the bathroom wasn't as cramped. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and Copenhagen Train Station is only two train stops away, making the location quite convenient. They also have air conditioning in the summer, which is also very important.
GGuest UserThe staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We booked a meal at Sticks and sushi on the rooftop and had a beautiful meal for my hubby's birthday. In the room the toiletries in particular were very good quality and had a lovely perfume. The lifts were fast and efficient. There was always a cab in the forecourt if we needed one. The hop on hop off bus stops right outside every 25 mins if you have a Copenhagen Card. It is only a 15 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station. The waterfront is only <5mins walk. There is a large out of town shopping centre about 10mins walk away.
GGuest UserThe price/performance ratio is good, the environment is very good, including the restaurant's food is also very good, there are quite a lot of people who come to drink at night, it is lively, the breakfast is rich, and the transportation is more convenient
VVeraViktowe were a family in this hotel for 1 night. really liked the location. the metro is 3 minutes walk, it is very convenient. we bought a ticket 24 hours and managed to see a lot of locations. The double room is small but comfortable enough. good bed, clean. there is everything you need. breakfast is long from 7 to 11 o'clock, it's convenient. breakfast is sufficient - egg dishes, yoghurts, sausages and bacon, pastries, cheeses. very friendly front desk manager. in addition, I want to indicate that we arrived 3 hours earlier and we were immediately settled in a room, it was ready, we liked it, we recommend the hotel!
OOrange Lifestyle Collective LtdLocation is super good, just opposite to metro station not more than 2 mins walk. My room was located Ground floor next to passageway, you'll hear pedestrian talking which a bit noisy though... but you paid what you get in terms of location, cleaniness also with Nespresso coffee machine and free daily capsule this is value for money.
Will book Tiffany Hotel if I plan to go Copenhagen again. I enjoy my stay and it is convenient to anywhere in the city.
ZZHAOXGIt is already autumn, and hotels in Northern Europe are still very expensive, 3-4 times more than in April. If you are short of money, you can book the Youth Hostel. The 8-bed room is relatively small, but it's enough for a night's sleep. They are all young people, and there are also couples who come to live. Two bathrooms, three bath rooms. The bathroom is good and the shower is a bit close. It's very close to the railway station, just outside. It is inconvenient to swipe the card at the front desk, and a chip card must be used. Breakfast is ok, 55 CZK, freshly baked bread.
