The place is very quite, have friendly staffs ready to assist specially Victor from the front desk who always welcome us. They don't accept Day use only guests so the place is not crowded. They have beautiful white circular villas which I found very unusual and the well maintained lawn but It takes us 20 mins to wait for a cab every time we go out the resort but I understand because in Plantation Bay and Costabella we experienced the same so every time we planned to go out we inform the Front Desk ahead so that they can call a cab for us in advance. But anyways its my third visit in Cebu and Im planning to return on my next vacation and stay in this resort again.

Most of the foods in their menu are the traditional Filipino ones. I would say the taste is somewhat ok, nothing fancy. We were satisfied enough. Most of servings are large enough that we cant consume all of what we ordered. It end up storing at our room's REF

You get what you're paying for so it would be best to set your expectations at a reasonable level since our were set high. The property has so much potential. The units are detached and clean and the grounds are relatively well kept. Our biggest diss appointment was with the beach. It's about a 20-25 meter stretch of private beach protected by a sea wall. Not exactly what they advertised. You have a great view of the water if all you want to do is bask in the sun but to say this is beach front and put up out dated pictures is just bad taste. When we asked about this at the front desk, we were told "That is the complaint we receive regularly from guests" and that following our complaint, they were going to put up "real pictures" ... We were told that they were fixing the beach and that they would organize boat trips to nearby island - this never happened apparently due to the conditions of the waters. Anyways, as already mentioned, the menu is limited, you'll know it by heart after your first meal and the karaoke bar next door will put american idol auditions to shame but such is life. Service at the resto/bar is inconsistent, sometimes slow sometimes speedy and not very organized. overall, we made the best of the situation and some of the staff made us feel welcome and tried their best to make the experience more enjoyable given the beach situation and complaint. I doubt I would return unless i knew for a fact that the management had turned things around and the beach was ACTUALLY a beach. Given what they charged us I'm giving this place average, but on a side note, agoda charged us and we had paid cash at the hotel. This might just be something on agoda's end so im not letting it affect the ratings.

First, this “resort” has adequate ac units for the “villa” I stayed at. You get one key per room, so if you are in a group, you all better stay together. The beach in front of the “resort” is nothing like the pictures on line. It is not managed well; if you expect resort type beach, forget about it. It is at most the minimal requirement to be called a beach; but lacking in resort definition. If you want isolation from any the world, after 9pm, this is the place to be. There is no flexibility on having visitors after 9pm. The front desk will call incessantly and will send staff to search your room. Again, perfect for hardcore introverts. You have to also remind the front desk to refill complementary items, eg water, soap, shampoo, etc. Front desk staff is pretty rough. They don’t know anything outside the “resort.” I do not believe any of them liked their job; it shows. They give you the barest information. You have to squeeze information out like I would imagine CIA interrogation. So it you want isolation go here. If you want vacation stay out.

We were booked to stay at the Cordova for 6 days but changed to a different hotel after 3 at our own expense. On arrival there was lack of information and facilities of the hotel or map of complex. We are not big eaters, but had exhausted the one restaurant and one bar (which had the same menu for both) and very limited having to eat lunch and dinner in one or the other. Also not all choices were available. They would only serve wine by the bottle even though it was listed on there menu per glass. We were advised that there were not sufficient guest in the hotel to warrant opening a bottle. The american breakfast was a choice of one item with eggs not the buffet style expected. Very few other guests in the hotel probably due to the constant kareoke singing which was from 10.00am to early hours of the morning at the weekend and Monday when we thought it would be quiet it started at 1.00pm till late. No peace an quiet at all which is what we wanted. The gym equipment and in a very poor state of repair almost to the point of being unsafe. Poor Wifi connection in the villas very interminate and almost unusable. Rooms and housekeeping were clean. Only a couple of staff members had good english which made requests difficult when they were not around. On the whole alot of money wasted on a very badly run hotel.

This resort, surrounded by greenery and far from the chaos outside, is both charming and surreal. It consists of cylindrical houses with conical roofs, spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, and bathrooms with a bathtub and a very large shower (we had the deluxe garden view room). The resort is very large but quiet and peaceful. The building is a bit dated and neglected, in need of more maintenance. The restaurant and breakfast rooms, overlooking the pool, are enormous, and the food is very good. The pool is large, but the water isn't particularly clean. However, it's a truly pleasant spot to relax on loungers on the lawn in complete peace and relaxation. The staff is courteous and helpful. The beach and sea are impassable as they are extremely dirty and neglected. I recommend it only for a final relaxing break before departing from Cebu Airport.

There is nothing to brag about except free Wi-Fi... The staff was not bad, but... It is an absurd place with no hot water in the room... And the access to Cebu City is the worst... It is a good place to go for a vacation with your significant other, but the worst for sightseeing or entertainment...
