Excellent property. From check-in to check-out everything was quick and efficient with the staff being very welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding. Our go to place to stay when in the area.

Stayed 2 nights. Housekeeping didn't come in to provide new towels or clean up after day 1. Stuck with used towels and glasses. I found that unusual.

We were there related to a family hospital stay and the front desk staff could not have been kinder or more accomodating despite our uncertaintly around the length of our stay, etc.

Booked a room with queen size bed and got a room that had two double beds. There was a very strong smell of **** in the hallway by our room and could smell it in our room.

Excellent location. Overall nice hotel in an older building. Found the Queen bed to be very firm with a tilt along with not very comfortable pillows. Breakfast was excellent.

Older heritage property. Needs a reno, rooms need be updated, and general maintenance required. Otherwise great food, nice bar and steak house. Within short walking distance of shopping, pubs, etc. The trail system is great if into nature walks. The mountains and valleys similar to Banff, spectacular fall colors.

The hotel was great for such a old hotel , it was clean the staff were great !
The only thing that made the stay disappointing was I booked it for a special occasion, so we stayed because to celebrate at the wine cellar for Dinner , but it was closed and it’s I guess no one’s fault but i had no idea it was closed certain days of the week .

This is an elegant, but not pretentious, hotel. The property, inside and out, is well-maintained. The gardens are especially stunning. The food is delicious. The staff are pleasant. We love our stays here.

The room was clean and comfy. I ended up rebooking for a second night as I had so much fun in Corner Brook checking out the trails and such. My only disappointment was the front desk staff. I interacted with 3 different front desk staff and they were all pretentious and indifferent. I observed that they interacted with the older patrons very courteously and friendly, which made me wonder why I got the cold shoulder. I am an avid traveler (stayed in at least 50 different hotels) and this was definitely the first i was made to feel unwelcome.
