10-15mins walking distance away from downtown. Many stairs to access the rooms but what can you expect from a hotel called "terraces"... It didn't bothered us that much. Large and comfortable room. They have a restaurant on site, very convenient, good cost for value and nice atmosphere. Front staff very helpful and nice. We could book a tour and a transfer to the pier.

DO NOT stay or book this hotel. The Reviews for this hotel are wrong. The hotel staff were completely rude and tried to give us a room #408, which is 8 flights of stairs!! When we asked for a different room they just laughed at us….. unbelievable! We asked for a refund and they told us we need to contact ***********. They offered no apology or any resolution. DON’T make the same mistake we did…. We will likely lose our money from this hotel. During checkin they smiled and told us that we will experience “blackouts” with power outage, between the hours of 4-11pm! I even took a photo to prove it!

We only stayed at Vela Terraces for one night. The booking was simple, and I couldn’t fault the value for money. The day of arrival, there was some confusion with the transfer from Coron airport to the hotel which started our stay with a bit of a wobble, however, once we arrived at the hotel and discussed the matter with the reception team, the problems were instantly rectified. The hotel staff were all delightful! The receptionist spotted on my passport that my birthday was the following morning and herself and the other staff surprised us with a little cake and wine during our evening meal (the food was delicious!). The room was beautiful; we were even offered an upgrade - it was spacious, very clean, simple but modern. The cleaning staff even removed a huge spider from our bathroom for us. All in all, we had a lovely stay and a restful night. We would happily stay again.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Coron. We have a comfortable stay, the room is clean, the bed is soft and all the amenities you need in a hotel is there. They also have excellent service special mention to Sir Vin and Kyle for making our stay a pleasurable one. The Manggis restaurant serve great food from breakfast to dinner. You should try their Pizza if you ever in Coron. Overall, its a great stay except we are given a room at the most top floor. So if you plan to stay here make sure you get a room from the first floor coz its tiring to always use the stairs.

Pros: Bed was comfortable and room was large. Staff was generally friendly. Location was quiet and as long as the people in the house across the way weren't singing karaoke it was quiet. Staff could arrange motorbikes, laundry service, transfers Cons: not enough electrical outlets in the room, none near the bed, none in the bathroom. Missing things like a hairdryer and safe deposit box. Room had some cleanliness issues. A variety of bugs got into the room including a large roach and spider. Staff doesn't visit the room daily so things like water, soap, toilet paper have to be asked for and sometimes they have issues providing you what you ask for. Breakfast selection was very limited and they didn't cover fruit, many flies on the fruit. If you can get a good enough deal it's okay to stay here but this hotel isn't without it's issues. Also, as others have mentioned, if you can't climb several steep stairs, don't stay here.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our family, renting 2 rooms. The rooms were clean, bathroom fine. I had to ask for kettle/coffee- but they provided this without any issues. No tea(for those of you who like tea). Nice pool, with seating outside. Restaurant was good with lovely breakfast selection. We chose to have a fruit platter (which we paid extra for), on top of the ‘breakfast plate’ per person, which was included in our room rate (we chose French toast and pancakes). Definitely worth it- plenty of fruit for 4 of us! They hotel had organised a tuk tuk to pick us up from our late ferry from El Nido (which we had to pay). The guy however, charged us 4x a normal rate (he charged us a ‘per person’ rate)- so we pain400peso, rather than about 100 (still cheap). So do be aware. Friendly staff.

Accommodating and friendly staff! They provided excellent service during our stay. They even helped us book our tours on the spot, booked a motorcycle rental and helped us navigate going to Calauit Safari. They even provided an egg sandwich because they know we won't be able to eat breakfast for our early adventure. Didn't get a chance to get all the staff names but they were so friendly and always greeting us. With our rooms they provide room service everyday. Definitely a home away from home without any worry! Vela Terraces provide all kinds of services that make our stay hassle-free and smooth. Breakfast was very delicious and we also tried to dine at Maggis on our last day and it is one of our top 3 restaurants in Coron! Thank you very much for your service and will definitely come back! Stay safe always!

Perfect place to stay in Coron! Its such a homey friendly hotel! The rooms, the staff, and the food was so great! Everyone was so accommodating and helpful :) I really enjoyed my stay there! Looking forward to going back!

I stayed at Vela for a good 5 nights and 6 days, my whole stay was exceptional given the comfy beds, the kindest staff you can ever meet and the most satisfying meals all perfect for your post busy days at the beach. My personal favourite was their Chan Chan pasta (and YES, they make their pasta from scratch, as well as their pizza), everything was amazing, really. You can try them at Manggis, only at Vela Terraces. Dont forget to also try their cocktails, my friends and i enjoyed happy hour here as well, if you were to try one of the lokos, my fave was the Watermelon Sugar cocktail! Coron is a beautiful place and Vela Terraces offers the best services to make sure your trip is most convenient and most enjoyable. i highly recommend this hotel whether you're travelling alone or with company. Cant wait to go back ＜3
