My friend and I (in our early 60’s), stayed here for 10 nights early July, having booked with Tui. We arrived around 1 pm to a warm greeting from Reception Staff, we were offered a glass of Proescco. Our room was ready and the Porter took our bags to our room, all in all it was a smooth and Easy Process. SUN BEDS Were the most comfortable I have experienced, wide with thick padding. Most the of Sun beds in prime positions around the pool were reserved with towels on them, BUT, you can not access them or the pool until 9 am as there was a chain up. However, there was a mad rush for people to pick their favourite spots around the pool. BEACH There were beds on the beach with windbreaks, but this is FV so it is windy a little sand, but mostly volcanic rock. If you wanted to go into the water, you had to walk along a pontoon. FOOD AND RESTAURANTS We were Bed and Breakfast – there was a good choice for breakfast with the usual English Breakfast, however, the food served was not very hot. So I opted for fruit/cold buffet. We did eat in the Buffet 3 evenings, this was very nice the cost per head averaged around £35 each. DRINKS These were not all Inclusive for us a G & T cost £11 and a bottle of wine approximately £24. SERVICE Most staff go above and beyond and are very friendly. We did see waiting staff taking drinks orders around the pool and I, also ordered the odd beer (about £5 each). ROOM There is a fridge in the room which is stocked up with water, beer and soft drinks. The room also has a kettle and coffee machine. The Air con was good and there was plenty of hanging space, draw space and dressing table space. There was a big dressing table, but with no mirror above it. We had a large queen size bed – which was good for us as we are married female friends, so we could keep well apart! The Patio was large with comfortable seating. BATHROOM – this was separate from the room with a ‘his’ and ‘Her’s sink. part of the Bedroom with a mirror dividing the sink, a glass door to the toilet and to the Shower. All rooms are like this, so if you value your privacy from your fellow roommate, then be warned! ENTERTAINMENT This was an acquired taste, low key with a couple of singers strumming on their guitars. One evening there was a Spanish Singer. CONCLUSION This is a lovely Hotel, very clean, tidy, great friendly staff, great food with great out door space. There is nothing in the area such as shops, restaurants or bars. The walk to Corralejo ***** is about 20 minutes. You can walk to the Campanero Centre, where there are some restaurants, bars, shops and a Supermarket, which is about 15 minutes away. The beach is not a pretty beach and the Hotel (sadly for the Hotel), is surrounded by derelict or abandoned buildings. It was an expensive holiday £1,200 for B & B, flying from Gatwick with TUI with Bed and Breakfast. It is a lovely Hotel and many people return to it.
