Just came back from a 2 week stay my boyfriends first holiday abroad and we absolutely loved it and already wish we was back! All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly towards us . We was self catering but ate a couple of times in the hotel and there was plenty of choice each day and the drinks was reasonably priced just remember the hotel is CASHLESS. we stayed in a bedroom apartment with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The restaurants and bars outside the hotel was brilliant and was only a 15 minute walk from the beach. There was great day entertainment on and the entertainment staff was amazing. never really struggled to get a sunbed even at 1pm at the large pool !!! would 100% come back x

We just returned from a fantastic week at Hotel El Duque in Costa Adeje, and I can’t recommend it enough! It was the perfect family getaway, and our 7-year-old had an absolute blast. The best part of our evenings was the mini disco. Every night, the kids came alive with excitement, but what really made it special was the entertainer, Riccardo. He was so engaging and friendly, taking the time to interact with the children. Our little boy, who loves dancing, was thrilled when Riccardo showed him some dance moves. It made his night, and he looked forward to the disco every evening! The self-catering facilities in the apartment were great, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease while enjoying the flexibility of eating out when we wanted. The location is also perfect, close to the beach and local attractions. Overall, El Duque Aparthotel is a fantastic choice for families. With great entertainment, comfortable accommodations, and a friendly atmosphere, it's an experience we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Fabulous Apartments, big and very clean, good situation in the resort, breakfast was good as well, plenty of options available. 2 good size pools, no issue with sunbeds however that may be down to the time of year. Clearly says beds not to be reserved but of course some people were still doing this.

This was our 3rd visit to el Duque over the years. We wasn’t disappointed and find it excellent value. Decided to be b n b this time the breakfast had lots of choice and fresh omelettes made. Pool areas and very clean was a struggle to get sunbeds as winter sun only some areas in it and people often reserving beds before time allowed which is frustrating. Staff helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned daily not much sun on our terrace this time but no bother. Husband slept in living room and window was bright but used a towel on the outside sorted! Lots of restaurants close we loved the pizza restaurant and went on Christmas Day. Staff made lovely effort at Christmas. Probably won’t return as next time we won’t have a buggy so need to be closer to the front.

Here on a B&B basis for four nights and we are in an apartment directly above restaurant overlooking pool. One bedroom, huge terrace and air conditioning. Rooms are cleaned daily. Lots of restaurants very close by. However if you want the beach it’s a good 10-15 minutes walk DOWNHILL and it’s a bit of a haul coming back up! Can’t comment on food as we only have breakfast but that has lots of choice -cooked breakie, lots of toasts, breads and pastries, beautiful fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts. Very generous indeed. I only have two minor issues. Drinks at the bar are not fantastic and as we are not all inclusive obviously we’re paying for our drinks but the wine is awful and the young barman clearly has no knowledge of cocktails! But there are lots of lovely bars outside the hotel. Finally they have live music and entertainment every night which goes on till 11pm. So if you like quiet evenings then this venue isn’t for you as it’s all fairly noisy . But it’s a lovely place to stay and very central for bars and restaurants. I was concerned on reading some of the negative reviews but we are enjoying our stay and have no complaints - I am quite ‘picky’ and would always complain if there are issues but El Duque is a lovely hotel, clean comfortable rooms , helpful friendly staff and I would recommend it.

We stayed in an apartment. We were all inclusive but having a kettle and fridge was really useful. The rooms are very clean and smelt wonderful after the cleaners had been in. They work so hard and it is seen. We were on the ground floor with our terrace facing the public park. We didn’t spend much time on the terrace. Both pools were heated, the kids loved being in the pool. The larger pool has more of a shallow part which was great for the kids. The smaller pool was deeper. There was always plenty of sun beds available. We normally went in the afternoon. The food was to a high standard. Not a huge range but a high quality. There was always something to have. There was always fresh salad and a good range. There was always pasta, chips and pizza so even fussy eaters had something. There was always a couple of meats and fish being cooked fresh. The restaurant was always clean, the staff work really hard. Empty plates didn’t stay on the table for long. New Year’s Eve gala buffet was huge and amazing, really impressive. So much food to choose from. There was champagne on arrival and the children got their own special drink. The entertainment was outside so it was cool, there were heaters that were put on every night. The staff that did the mini disco were brilliant. There was only 3 of them but they worked together well and the kids loved them. The kids went to the kids club a couple of times and had loads of fun. All the staff work hard and make the holiday relaxing. Even with some tough customers they just got on with it. They always seemed happy and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We would recommend the hotel and if we go back to Tenerife we would go to this hotel.

Not much piece and quite here. Stayed in a self catering apartment that overlooks a shopping mall. The mall opens at 9 every morning with dreadful music all day. Upstairs in the Mall is an Irish pub called the Anchor the noise from here starts about 8 and carried on till 2/3 into the morning. Tried the main pool no problem getting sunbeds just not enough room to put them anywhere. Always felt you were taking someone's space. Tried the pool bar for food. Worst Toastie I've ever had. Plastic cheese and processed ham. Luckily the San Miguel was bottled so that was ok. The Staff are lovely. The photo I've put on is showing the shopping mall from our balcony
