Hotel Baobab Suites

This was our second trip here and loved it. Stopped in a 2 bedroom Serenity Suite with its own pool. Lots of space in the rooms and on the terrace with the pool. The rooms had everything we needed and were cleaned daily. Main swimming pools were good as well and there was no queuing for sun beds. Buffet breakfast is brilliant with lots of choice. Only downside was that after 5pm the Karbon Restaurant is very specialised and not ideal for teenagers. There are restaurants in Playa del Duque that are a 10-15 minute walk downhill. Wasn’t too bad walking back uphill although a taxi may be a better option. We would recommend this hotel and have booked again for December 2024.

I rarely return to a hotel but we enjoyed Baobab so much last Nov that we returned this year. Six of us shared a spacious 3-bedroom suite with a huge terrace and private pool and had a really chilled, hassle free time. Nothing was too much trouble for the ‘butler’ service and the suite was fab. Super comfy beds and great walk in super- strength showers. Breakfast is a highlight at Baobab and there are 3 ways to do it. You can order a breakfast box to your suite, enjoy waitress service and one of their ‘breakfast boards’ at BB’s and enjoy the morning sunshine and views down to Adeje bay or visit the huge new breakfast room, where there’s an amazing choice and excellent service. I don’t usually like the noise and bustle in hotel breakfast rooms but this is different. It’s actually pretty quiet with a nice morning vibe and great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Every member of staff we encountered during our visit was friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Freddie who brightened our mornings and Oliver in BBs who brightened our evenings with his cocktails and chat.

Had a brilliant week’s stay in the Baobab, our suite was really spacious, well equipped and great to have a hot tub with a view over to the hills of Tenerife. Pools were heated and a good size for a decent swim. The buffet breakfast in the Bite restaurant was great, so much choice! We got the breakfast box to our room once and while it was ok it wasn’t as good as the buffet, you didn’t get any hot drinks included. It would have been handy if they had written information about the hotel and maybe given you a look around to show off all the amenities on arrival: while the QR codes are handy it’s nice to be shown things and have them written down. However staff were always really helpful and answered any questions promptly, eg about car hire. It is up a hill from bars and restaurants but taxis came quickly and never cost us more than £9. Would stay here again!

We loved the concept of the Baobab suites . Your own private suite complete with decent size fridge freezer and cooking facilities if required. We had two kids with us so the washer / dryer, private pool and safe and enclosed sun deck was a bonus., and at the same time we had all the convenience of Hotel service at our beck and call. Room service was quick and effective via their what’s app , this was very handy and we used it frequently. Two options for breakfast , both very good. In the evenings you could go out to local restaurants ( no shortage of those within walking distance ) , eat on site in the snack bar ( short order food ) or go across the road to their find dining offering the Kar Bon which was also very good. There is a free taxi service to and from the beach every day. The highlight here was the reception / reservations / porter team, so helpful 24/7 they made sure our stay was very special. Also not forgetting the Spa team, providing the adults with some very much needed me time away from the kids. Overall the Baobab suites offer a haven of calm and tranquillity backed up by superb service and guest relations. Do ask for a suite on the higher floors, the lower levels are a bit close to the road. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Delighted to have just rebooked for 10 days at Baobab Suites.. Came here last June for the first time and loved every minute of our stay.. From the minute we walked into the reception to check in the staff were excellent throughout our stay, from the reception staff the restaurant and bar staff the cleaning staff all were so welcoming friendly and helpful.. The room (Divinity Estudio) was spacious elegant and stylish and immaculately clean with our own terrace and a shared pool, which we had to ourselves for the most part.. The breakfast restaurant was lovely with lots of choice of hot and cold food and beverages.. The main bar was picturesque with stunning views over Tenerife where we spent most evenings with a gin or two.. The pool area was amazing, quiet and luxurious again with stunning views.. An added extra was the sports centre across the road.. A well equipped gym for my morning workout was a perfect start to the day.. The food here was also very good and perfect for a more relaxed evening if we didn’t feel like going out.. Delighted to have booked again for June and can’t wait to get back..

We stayed for 3 nights and loved all of it. The hotel really made the holiday. It was our first time in Tenerife but we would go back just because of the Baobab Suites. We stayed in a 2 bed suite with a pool. On checking in we were given a voucher for drinks in the bb lounge and a porter took us and our bags to our room. Just as well as we were tired and got lost! The room is exactly as good as it looks in the photos. And as an extra plus we were given a 3 bedroom suite so our kids were over the moon!! Although we arrived about 6pm the front desk (Camilla) helped us book a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant Karbon. The food was great. Even the kids ate everything! Kids were in the pool before we went because it was so private! The private pool is a good size to play and swim in. We did go to the heated communal pool on a windy day. The breakfast boxes in suite are amazing. I definitely recommend doing that at least once. The buffet breakfast was also good but more standard of more luxe than others. I had a hydrating facial in the wellness centre. So good!!! A facial that included an unexpected head massage and so many oils and creams. V luxurious. So good I booked my husband in for head massage the next day! Highly recommended! After checking out, we were given another voucher for free drinks at the lounge so we could relax while waiting on our taxi. It was v busy as we were around check in time but it was appreciated. Love love love this hotel. I've put my card from Camilla in a safe place for booking our next stay!

Writing this review later than I would have liked, but we’ve visited this place twice now and due to come back in August for third time. This is a phenomenal hotel, stylish decor, architectural design is very contemporary, super cool setting. Rooms are really spacious, airy and all modern facilities you would expect and more in a 5 star hotel. All the staff are really friendly, accommodating and always on hand, not that there are ever any issues here as everything runs very seamlessly in this hotel. The food is really high quality, can easily tell produce sourced to a high standard and no shortcuts are taken. The breakfast boxes are such a clever idea and how they are presented is just beautiful. Cannot recommend a better hotel in Costa Adeje for accommodation, facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. One of the most stylish hotels architecturally and decor wise if you have an appreciation of this kind of thing as it creates a serene atmosphere even when the hotel is busy and appears full. You never get a sense of it’s too busy overcrowded here. Special shout out to Billy Diaz who is just a pure credit to the hospitality industry.

We really enjoed our stay here. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were spacious and gave a beautiful view overlooking the coast. The kitchen came with all the mod-cons. The gym was well equipped. But for me the real quakity came with the staff who were so friendly and helpful, a special mention to Mayria who gave us great local tips for where to eat and places to go. We will be back.

We stayed in here for 3 nights with our 3 kids. Hotel is clean and modern. It was very quiet and relaxed when we were there. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool which was great because we liked the privacy as opposed to a communal pool. The walk down to Del Duque beach was 10mins but coming back up the hill was not the most comfortable for the kids. We had a medical incident and the hotel connected doctor attended promptly. Staff and service was pretty good although the initial warmth from check in seemed to fade. Overall, a good quality choice for a short stay.
