I'm here and it's my first day. Room was tired and dirty as soon as we entered. Toilet and bath were minging and plug sockets coming away from wall. Door curtain hanging off rail in several places and pictures on wall were stained along with dusty, dirty lights. Outside balcany table and floor were filthy. I went back to reception and asked for another room but was told there wasn't any and to come back tomorrow. The receptionist said she was sending someone to clean the room but after we went back to our room, a few hours later, no one had been and it was still the same. .....So I took some photos.....(see below)..not impressed for a 4 star hotel. Food wasn't great and quite cold although there was a microwave to warm your food up. I chose the pork, but when I cut into it, parts of it was pink and bleeding on my plate so I left it. I ended up with the chicken which was ok. As far as my first day goes, I'm really disappointed and hope tomorrow is a better day.

The hotel is not really a 3 Star, more like 2. The hotel is looking very tired and could do with some real TLC to update the décor and facilities. Positives: All Staff were friendly and helpful; plenty of sun beds and choice of location of sunbeds; good size swimming pool. Breakfast choice of food was good. So So's: Pool was salt water, which is not ideal but no doubt far cheaper to run. Water from shower in room was decent strength but only really warm, never hot. Towels were changed every couple of days which was just about bearable, as was the fact that for 2 days per week the rooms are not cleaned. Negatives: Beds undoubtedly the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in any hotel. Mattresses were thin and old, you could feel the springs. Pillows also uncomfortable. All drinks - which were non branded - were served in small wine glasses or shorts glasses, including the beer. I have never been to any hotel which did not served draft beer in proper beer glasses. Presumably they did this to save money. Food choices were very limited for lunch and dinner and catered for more a German and Spanish palate. I was violently sick with a stomach bug for 2 days, then immediately afterwards so was my wife for 2 days, which was a substantial chunk of our holiday. After being ill we did not eat any lunch or dinner from the hotel. The hotel was a 20 minute walk from the small amount of restaurants. There is one good sports bar that shows the football and serves excellent food, which was a life saver. If you want a cheap break, quite a long way from anything at a cheap hotel this would suit you. Personally going forward I would spend a bit more to stay in a better quality hotel where the facilities and food are that much better. I would not go back to this particular area as it was a predominately German and Spanish resort. Perhaps the north of the Island might be a little more British

I don't have any real complaints about this hotel, I went early march for a bit of sun and was very impressed with this great sun trap, Good sun, good booze and decent food too! The rooms are plain and simple, food times set as per the all inclusive and check in times from 1500hrs Only let down for me took around an hour BUT I decided to go to Costa Calma which is the other end of the island! Well worth booking, go ahead and get it done!

Just got back from this hotel. Food and drinks and staff I will give 4*. However the hotel is VERY DATED. Rooms are small and not very comfurtable although we did have a balcony which just looked onto other rooms. The hotel is certainly NOT within walking distance to shops, as the website indicated, and is a good taxi ride away. There is a bus stop not too far away but the service is very unreliable. For the remainder of my experience at this hotel I will give 2*.

Just arrived and have been sat here for over 2 hours as the room is not ready - so annoyed - people arriving after me being given rooms and I am still sat here. I asked reception why and there answer was it depends on when the room has been cleaned. I then asked why again - she then ignored me while I stood there - after a few minutes silence I asked again if that was it - advised yes and to have to wait a further hour - will have been sat here for over for 3 hours - that’s saying that I actually do get into a room at 4pm - not a good start

I am currently staying at this hotel and until last night I’ve had a lovely experience. However last night me & my family left our room to go to the all inclusive, we always check the balcony door & main door is locked before leaving & they were secure. We were gone around 20 mins and I didn’t feel to good so decided to come back to the room on my own where I caught 2 men in black leaving our neighbours room, they didn’t run when they saw me infact I was able to walk right up to them then they wandered off giggling. Went into my room to find they had robbed us, taking Money, a watch & a gold bracelet. The most worrying thing for me is the fact the balcony door is bolted into the door frame from the inside so if locked it can’t be opened from the outside, there was no damage to the front door therefore these people either had a key to get into all rooms or have been let in by a staff member. We never leave our valuables lying around but thought with us just going for dinner and coming straight back that it would be safe, even more worrying is the fact I was on my own and could of walked into them in my room or they could of walked in when I was alone. We also have a 5 year old little girl with us so that also has me worried sick. There is no cameras or security & the hotel is so big that is I screamed for help unless someone was in the next room no one would hear me. Reception told me I would have an appointment with police the next afternoon to report it however I kicked off because to me this is clearly an inside job then police were called to the hotel. Disgusting

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. I had a pleasant experience until the last day. I booked a courtesy room for the day I left as I was not leaving until 3pm. I was told there was no charge for the room and that towels were provided. The following morning (my departure day) I received a call from Juan who worked on Reception to say the room was not available. I spoke to him in person after the call and asked why I could not use the room he had booked and if I could have an extension on my own room as this was their mistake, not mine. I was told no. I asked to speak to the Manager, who came out to me and apologised, saying the room was available and told me where it was located. At 11am I was due to check out so I went to my room to collect my belongings and found the door was wide open!! My belongings including a tablet, passport and cash were in full view of anyone walking past. I informed Juan on Reception of what had happened, told him it was ok as nothing was missing. At 2pm I went to get the key to the courtesy room which was on the 3rd floor. I queried this as the rom the Manager spoke to me about was on the 1st floor. I entered the room and found debris including screws, nails and plaster all over the floor, the was a puddle of water by the vanity sink. it was filthy and there was no towel other than 2 that had been used to mop up mess from the bathroom. I was denied a towel by the Spanish speaking maid when I managed to find her. The room was so hot I tried to open the patio doors but they were locked and would not budge! It was then that I turned on the air conditioning unit and received an electric shock that took me off my feet and threw mw against the opposite wall. My arm was completely numb! I looked up at the ceiling and a tile had been removed revealing bare wires and cabling. The electrics had completely blown and I was left with no sensation in my arm. I left the room and went to reception. I reported what had happened to Juan and he told me there was no Manager as she had left for the day. I told him he needed to report the incident as it was a Health and Safety issue. At no point did he ask me if I was ok, or apologise. he just looked at me dumbfounded! As my coach was coming to pick me up, I had no choice but to leave with no apology, just an email address to contact. I sent my email after I returned and was simply told in a very short and concise reply, that the hotel was sorry, this was a human error! I contacted Love Holidays regarding this and received the hotel's reply which stated I had been rude, unreasonable and demanding! They also said the room was given out of courtesy and they are not obliged to give it at all. It said the room was not checked before I was given access to it because I was in a hurry? I booked a room the day before and was told there was no charge. The hotel said it was not cleaned or prepared - it was unfinished!! The hotel say I cannot have been electrocuted as they sent there te
