Very welcoming hotel with great pool area. Due to the early season, there was plenty of parking available just outside the hotel. A short stroll from the hotel out to the amazing beach.
The room was very clean and in good shape.

Family hotel
Nice large hotel but mostly for families, lots of kids in the pool, great sea view from the room. Free parking should have been included but was only for ’all inclusives’!!?? We had to park on a street 300 meters from the hotel ☹️, nice breakfast.

Great hotel been before a few years ago and just as good as ever. Hotel is kept very clean inside and out. Food is great we were all inclusive so a great selection breakfast, dinner and tea with snacks at the pool bar . 5 minutes walk to the beach 10 minutes to the port with bars and shops on the way. Entertainment on for kids and for grownups every day.staff are friendly.isla cannella old golf course 10 min by taxi links course about 20 mins but take mozzy spray.over all a great week will be back

The only nice things are the smell in the lobby and the public beach. The rooms are very basic, even the upgraded sea view room that I had. We nicknamed the restaurant as “the dungeon“ because it is so dark, old-fashioned like the 1970s and virtually no decor. We paid for all inclusive, but we ate our main meals out every day because the restaurant was so miserable. The food was varied but basic and rather greasy. The hotel runs loud activities almost all day at full speaker volume so it’s very difficult to relax. At best, this is a tired 3 star hotel. I will be going back to H10 hotels from now on as, if this is the standard of an Iberostar 4 star hotel, it is not for us.

Everything was beautiful, the choice of foods were great and all the activities were super inclusive. Camarera Raquel was super cute, even made a dog out of a towel ! Impressive. Definitely will be back :)

12 nights family holiday prior to a couple of sweltering Sevilla nights. We’ve stayed before at this hotel and we were delighted with our room - ask for a rear view of the nature reserve! Food is always excellent at the Iberostar. We stayed half board so can’t comment on drinks but they looked good. I would say the lighting in the canteen style restaurant needs working on as the ambience was OK for evening dinner. The hotel is now 90% Spanish/Portuguese guests which appeals to us but, English is very limited do you have to try your Espanol! Entertainment was busy and they worked hard. I would say that the hotel is in need of some modernisation now but, it is still a decent choice for a beach holiday. The playa was great, Neptune’s still going strong in the marina and the restaurants in Punta del Moral are still outstanding quality and value. Ayamonte still a nightmare to park and a little rundown - watch out for the beggar parking attendants. We visited Sanlucar de Guidiana and absolutely loved it - zipwire and all! Muy Bien!

A really nice hotel, excellent staff in all areas, from reception to dining & housekeeping. We had a lovely room which was perfectly maintained on a daily basis. The food was excellent, great quality & many choices at breakfast & dinner. Pool area is very good, lots of things for children but gets quite full even in the quieter season. The excellent beach is within a few minutes walk along the boardwalk. The location is very quiet, but luckily that is exactly what we were looking for.

We recently visited the Iberostar at Isla Canela. It was our first trip to an Iberostar hotel and it will definitely not be the last. We had a late flight so didn't arrive at the hotel until 2am and when we got there the hotel had very kindly put food out for us (a full meal) which we were not expecting. Our room was very nice with a huge balcony overlooking the sea (we were in 1407) and our beds were comfy - unfortunately the pull out bed for our son was really hard so he didn't sleep well. The food was excellent - much better than I thought it was going to be and it was certainly the best food we have had in an all-inclusive hotel. Freshly cooked fish, meats, salads, pasta, pizza, vegetables, cheeses, cold meats, etc, etc. The entertainment programme was good - albeit most of it was in Spanish so we didn't really participate. The hotel could probably benefit from having more bar staff working in the evening, or opening more bars to avoid the queues. The majority of people there were Spanish, which we didn't mind, but it you are looking for somewhere with a more British flair, this probably isn't the place for you. We loved it. I couldn't finish this review without mentioning the wonderful smell when you walk into reception - whatever they use, they should sell. I would have given a 5 rating apart from the pull out bed and number of bar staff in the evening. Thank you Iberostar Isla Canela.
