"Owners Leon and Gillian are exceptional hosts. Very friendly place, and they would make sure all your questions about the area are answered. Fantastic for a short period if you are to spend days out and use the room only for a night. If you love mountains and simple solutions, this is a great place that is quiet overnight. This is fantastic for hiking and outdoor /adventure-type trips, but it is not a touristy place or hotel where you would like to spend a day in the room. Not really a family, comfy place. You get all that you need and nothing on top. saying that owners are wonderful, and facilities are enough, but basic. Our room lock did not work, which did not bother me at all, but i understand it might be an issue for many."

"We had booked a courtyard room but were upgraded to a Deluxe double which was huge and extremely comfortable.The bathroom was fantastic and the bed and linens excellent.We even had a turndown service which we did not expect.We ate in the bar and the food and cocktails were excellent.Breakfast was also excellent and  we are hard to please!!!!! The spa is lovely but would benefit from a covered walkway from the hotel as it was raining the whole time we were there.In general we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will stay again.Very friendly and pleasant staff."

"This hotel is one of the few that provides conditioner. However, the hairdryer was very unreliable. Also, although there were vacant rooms, they assigned a window-side air conditioner unit, which was very noisy and made it difficult to sleep. The staff were friendly, and there was ample parking."
