We’ve been coming to La Sivoliere for the 5th time this year, so we are regular customers. We had scheduled to stay 7 nights, having booked two separate rooms. On the 5th night, I broke my right arm after a rough fall on ice while walking in town. The doctor I visited in Courchevel 1850 suggested I immediately go to an orthopedic surgeon to have an evaluation and likely operation. We needed to go back home a day early. The hotel management was completely unaccommodating when it came to refunding the last night, despite deliberating with their head several times: they would neither pay the funds back nor count them as credit towards a future stay. They wouldn’t even pay back just one of the two rooms. Moreover, we had already accrued a lot of other charges ranging from laundry to ski rentals, and they wouldn’t count it against those either. As you can imagine, changing trains, changing flights, and scheduling doctor’s visits was already becoming a nightmare, both monetarily and organizationally, and the hotel’s utter apathy added extra frustration, given the amount of money and time we have spent there. For a supposedly high-end hotel, the management has no understanding of customer loyalty and is only concerned with short-term profit. We will unfortunately not be staying again at La Sivoliere when we return to Courchevel later this the season and in later years. The money spent at such a high-end resort warrants a better experience. P.S. This was not our first experience with the poor management at La Sivolire. At the onset of covid, we had to nearly threaten legal action to refund our booking, despite the French authorities having shut down the entire ski resort!

We visited from Florida with our 2 daughters ages 10, 12 and loved our stay. The family room we shared was very comfortable including 1 king bed + 2 bunk beds + scenic view. Upon arrival we noticed there was no coffee machine or tea service in the room. We called the front desk and soon we had a nespresso machine, an electric hot water kettle, and tea bags. Voila. The staff + concierge were very friendly and emailed us numerous times prior to arriving advising they can make lunch & dinner reservations, etc. They emailed their go to list of restaurants and activities and from within we planned a great stay. The hotel has red courtesy cars and offers guests round trip service to anywhere within 1850. If you are going outside the 1850 elevation, Courchevel has a complimentary bus that is user friendly and convenient. The ski rental in the hotel ski store was very efficient. Each morning the staff at the ski store helped us put on our ski boots and at the end of the day helped us remove them. The staff brings ski valet to the highest level! I’m skiing for 50 years this was the best service I have experienced. The hotel is ski out/in and is very convenient. Each day after skiing we enjoyed the hotel spa. The steam, sauna, and indoor pool was very calming. The ‘sports’ massage is amazing. Take a spa day for massage as we did, IMO. Breakfast was fantastic and the seating area is so cozy tucked in the mountainside. We typically visit Colorado for spring break skiing, and this year decided to think outside of our box. We’re so glad we did. The hotel + French culture are magnifique! Some tips / things to do: Restaurants: Le Granier within 1850 is excellent, and if u r ok with driving 20 minutes to the lowest elevation Black Pearl Pizza is amazing. slopeside 1850 we enjoyed de Laroche brasserie” located at Hotel Courcheneige on the slopes. Also 1850 slopeside Mille Sabords (Italian) was nice. In Maribel slopeside Maya Altitude is a great lunch spot! Lastly, if you are new to Courchevel as we were, the 3 valleys can be most enjoyed by hiring a guide. We’re seasoned skiers and initially I didn’t think it was necessary to pay $545/day for a guide, but after spending our 1st day getting lost a few times, without hesitation we hired a guide with a local company Fast Tracks - find via google (and it was our best day seeing all of the valleys (without getting lost 5x, lol). Ask for Martina, she’s a guide and was so nice, especially with our daughters.

Warm, welcoming, and beautiful are the words that come to mind as I reflect on our visit. The ambiance was casual elegance. If you are looking for a busy scene, stay somewhere else, keep La Sivoliere for the rest of us who like it quiet. It was easy to ski in/out from the ski storage room. We rented our skis from their onsite shop and the equipment was excellent. The hotel is a short 10 min walk into the hustle of the main village and they have an on demand shuttle was great. The Breakfast buffet was lovely, included many options including delicious fresh fruit and croissants. Standouts include Gael Rey, the Concierge and the staff in the ski room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and everyone was kind and professional. I hope we can someday return to ski Les 3 Vallees again!

We visited in Jan 2018. Being very fussy travellers and having experienced the best - la sivoliere was a breathe of fresh air that took us by complete surprise in a good way. Fantastic and responsive service. We got an upgrade as it was my birthday trip. Cosy and comfortable rooms - sizes very generous and larger than most ski resort hotels. Hotel breakfast is of high quality and we looked forward to this every morning. The shared areas of the hotel (lounge etc) are extremely cosy and well done up. We loved the ski valet. This is a hidden gem in my opinion.. we will definitely be back once our kids are old enough to learn skiing.

Great hotel with an excellent facilities and excellent service. Great breakfast options. Excellent ski valet service which even included help with putting on and taking off ski boots. Only minor caveat- skin in option involves taking a red piste (which for beginner skiers may be a little intimidating or taking a ski bar). However, hotel shuttle is readily available for the pick up from the base of the gondola.

Bref, on reviendra.

Hotel boutique, serviços ótimos. Concierge Gael super atencioso e competente. O Hotel tem um serviço de Vans excelente, uma vez que fica um pouco afastado do centro. SPA bem montado . Area do restaurante excelente, buffet bem sortido no café da manhã . Ski Service muito bom também.
