Pretty quiet stay, staff very friendly. Hotel does need some updating but it was the breakfast experience which really made our stay. The chef was incredibly friendly and helpful. Makes a really difference andy a fantastic way to start the day.

Everything was clean and exactly as I expect from a premier inn. Bed was super comfortable, room immaculate etc. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice - I have Coeliac disease and staff were very attentive in making sure everything was fine for me.

I stayed overnight 22 March at this P Inn (my first at this chain) to attend a Show at the NAEC on the 23rd. I found the room very comfortable, the best hotel bed I've slept in and that includes all over the US... good basic room and corridor design, spotlessly clean and - most important, as I am very noise sensitive - I couldn't hear any doors banging near me (a common problem even in 5 star hotels) nor any noise outside. No noisy shower doors or wardrobe doors. Noise is a VERY important aspect of staying anywhere! I don't know if this is because the hotel wasn't full (as conference hotels are always packed)...but 5 stars anyway... The breakfast was very nicely laid out and freshly cooked, and the breakfast lounge clean and v pleasant. Staff were very helpful. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in UK and worldwide - and this was great. UK hotels aren't the best...but I would be v happy to stay at a Premier Inn again.

Had a fantastic stay on Saturday 27th January. Our room was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Special mention to the staff at breakfast; Anna the chef, Caroline and Jacqui ... nothing was too much trouble! They made us feel valued and took care of everything. Thank you ladies! Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

I’ve been staying here since April 2023 for work. And cannot fault the place. Beverley is fantastic and will go above and beyond to make my stay easy and enjoyable. Anna is great always happy and goes the extra mile. And cooks the best breakfasts. Thank you ladies.

Great choice at Breakfast, everywhere was clean and tidy. Staff were really helpful and friendly especially the staff at breakfast, they couldn't do enough to help! Food was fresh and plentiful. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.

Quiet hotel outside of city, staff were lovely. Only downsides were lack of anything to eat in close vicinity and some noise around 2am, but it was new years eve, so probably people coming back from parties.

Have stayed here before to break the journey and visit family. However this time the room wasn't very clean and there were nail clippings on the carpet near the bed! - so the room clearly had not been vacuumed very well!! This Premier Inn is not attached to a pub so the breakfast is in their own dining room which is quite small and has loud music playing. The quality of the food was good and the chef cooking the breakfast is very engaging and is quite a personality.

For the positive part I'll say that I've stayed in this Premier Inn many times and the staff are always great. Friendly and helpful, and available to answer any queries. On this occasion my stay was awful. Really bad. It was unbearably hot. And I'm happy to stay somewhere without air con, that isn't an issue, most places provide a large fan to help keep us cool if they can't cool the actual room. This time the fan provided (shown on the pic) was the smallest I've ever been given, and I couldn't feel it unless I was literally standing in front of it. We got no sleep at night and had to try and sleep for a little while after around 8.30am when it cooled down slightly. This morning we cancelled our plans to try and sleep instead. I expected to be warm but it was unbelievable this weekend. We went out and bought a fan ourselves and an extension lead so we could actually feel the air. On our first day there was no cold water in the afternoon, just hot. And I mean that no matter how long I ran the cold tap for the water was still hot, but we managed to buy some bottled water so that was annoying but was sorted easily. My disappointment comes from Premier Inn's response (not the hotel, I mean customer services) and that I should have booked a hotel with air con. I tried to explain that the fans that the hotel had been provided with are completely inadequate but to be honest they didn't want to know. I always choose Premier Inn over other chains but honestly their service has put me off. The staff deserve better than what they've been given to give to customers.
