I contacted the WhatsApp number I found online in order to get more information on how to get there. When I asked about the room price, they said $90 per night. Then I went to their website and found out the same room was priced $64. Once there, the fire alarm in the room woke us up at at 1:00 AM with a constant and loud beeping. I contacted the number I had and eventually someone came and took off the alarm from the ceiling. Next morning, none of the staff would talk to us. I was not really expecting a compensation, but maybe an apology, as we booked a room to rest and sleep and that is exactly what didn't happen. Not even "Good morning". When we left, nothing. It seemed we had really offended them, who knows why. We were always polite when expressing our legit complaint to the WhatsApp person. I never felt so unwelcomed in my whole life. All in all, the worst customer service ever, plus, they tried to rip me off!

Arrived on a weekday. Maybe that explains what happened. We wanted to stay there, but when we went over to check in, there was nobody. We waited for just over a 30 minutes, gave up and went back to Cuenca. We liked the looks, even though it was a dark and gloomy day, but ...

Very romantic, traditional house, equipped with lots of love for details. The garden is amazing! Our room was very spacious and had a chimney, which is very cosy - especially when it‘s cold outside. Included was a very rich breakfast with fruit, eggs, pastry and juice. We felt very much at home!

Posada Ingapirca, is a perfect mix of nature and beautiful grounds. If you are looking for the perfect view of Ingapirca without the noise of the city, this is the place for you. The staff is warm and friendly, the hotel is like stepping back to the 18th century. The room we stayed in was #12 and was spacious with a sitting area and large beds. Our room had a fireplace, but we did not use it. The restaurant has unmatched local food from the region. In a dining room that is incredible and serene. Highly recommend this location.

Pros: - The location is perfect for exploring the world heritage site - Different trails around the lodge for nature discovery - Hot-water bottles were provided to sleep without central heat system - Very friendly service for dinner and breakfast Cons: - No English knowledge at all - The electric heaters are so weak and the temperature at night was very low - Impossible to take a shower due to freezing temperatures in bathroom - The mattress was very hard

Gemütliche Räumlichkeiten, sofern der Kamin in der Regenzeit tüchtig brennt, in denen wir Mittagsgäste mit unserer Reisegruppe waren. Das Essen war gut, wobei das geschmorte Lamm wesentlich besser war, als die vom freundlichen Service servierte panierte Forelle.

Der Service war mehr als verbesserungsbedürftig. Sowohl was die Zimmer anbelangte als auch im Restaurant. Es war so kalt im Zimmer, das Zimmer ließ sich nicht verschließen, das Frühstück war nicht bereit zum vereinbarten Termin. Morgens trotz Kälte war der Kamin nicht angeheizt. Abends wurde uns - eine Gruppenreise mit 12 Personen- das Licht im Restaurant ausgeschaltet.
